I used to play back in its glory day where there was a great population of players for normal and custom maps alike but now its just dead or full of mexicans. What happened? There was a huge petition to save this games mp and now all the pc players have left.


Whats become of this great game?

More than a decade of decay and player migration. Soon even the mexicans will have computers powerful enough to play decent games of this decade and Halo CE will die like preety much any other shooter before it. It's a miracle it's still alive.

The Halo CE community has mostly migrated to Minecraft. Indeed we now spend most of our days building crappy dirt huts.

No, it is still dificult to buy graphic´s card over here. You have to buy a pc with that already built in it. I´ve been searching litheraly all over the state to find one, seems nobody sells it. I need to buy only on online stores like Amazon o SegundaMano

Everyone says Halo CE will die, every year.

But I believe it needs a source port like Doom to remove a lot of its limitations and allow for bigger and better mods.

well almost the people are playing the new games almost everyone has a xBox One or a PS4 or they are just bored of this game, and yes theres so much latino players on Halo now but is the same amount of latino players of all time, the only
difference are the players from other regions like EU or North America they just don't play anymore this game they are getting older and they just don't have any interest on the game anymore, so now you have a bunch of latino players playing halo because probably they can't afford a new console or they are use to get illegal copies of videogames.

That is right, Halo CE is dead. It's no surprise, with the original Xbox version of Halo turning 15 years old in a few months. Nobody creates any content anymore and CE3 2016 is going to be 2 hours and 22 minutes of static.

Soon CMT will soon cancel the rest of SPv3, and in a few years announce SPv4, only to have it be delayed long enough for SPv5. At some point CMT will just give up and skip to SPv10 like Microsoft and hope people accept it as an improvement.

Multiplayer is dead and gone forever. Modders have stopped creating new multiplayer maps because nobody plays them, and players have stopped playing multiplayer maps because modders no longer create them. It is an endless cycle that will never be broken.

As evidenced here, all the new threads in Halomaps will be about everybody misses the gold old days. People will complain about how they didn't realize how good the good old days were until they were gone.

Dennis will be forced to shutdown Halomaps completely because nobody will be downloading any maps due to the death of the community. Bungie will shut down the multiplayer servers it put into service two years ago because players stopped using them and the online population will be permanently stuck at 0. Everyone will move on and Halo will be thrown into the ash heap of history.

Everybody saw the death of Halo coming, but nobody did anything.

Damn. That sounds too likely to happen.

I stopped playing online when latinos decided to make mediocre servers. Some people want to
play some good-vanilla custom maps with classic slayer, ctf, oddball and juggernaut... with NORMAL gametypes. But latinos like to play johnlex2, reus, antrax and nakedchick maps or vanilla maps with 16 to 32 vehicles, zombies (hce zombies doesnt play as good like as h2,h3&hr), and power weapons.

Where you from? I live in Leon Guanajuato and we have a lots of stores where you can buy anything for your PC.

Johnlex is Reus, is the same guy, he uses other nick because even latino mappers don't want to work with him anymore, he has a lot of fanboys same as JDK (another mexican mapper) and this 2 guys are just filling halo with cancer instead of making good things they are doing "mediocre" stuff
