Still OK with smart scope, DMR feels weird now, team mates talking to each other is useful but distracting. Still pretty good.

As someone whos actually played the game, I love it. everything just... works. and it just feels great. and it also has this really deep learning curve to it.

Hate smartscope, Hate lack of covie weapons.

So far I really like the beta. The gameplay was very fast-paced and fun. The graphics were just gorgeous imo.

I really hate the commentator. He's way to chatty and sounds like a hyped-up idiot. I do like how the Spartans are talking to each other though, its actually hepful.

I was under the impression that smart scope was optional and that there was no penalty for not using it.

Well when the enemies use it they get like a 3x lunge on the sword, super accuracy on AR and SMG even though they barely zoom. I don't mind it on the DMR, BR and the Sniper though. There its purely visual.

Can we talk about how it's the year 2558 or so and the UNSC is suddenly using the old Halo 2 pistol again?

Weapons generally stay in service for a long time, and even if they're officially replaced, it can take years to actually complete the transition. But there's nothing really wrong with the M6C, it's not terribly outdated compared with the rest of the M6 series, so I don't see any harm in it making a return.

I just don't like that pistol really, it doesn't feel like the pistol from the previous games.

The autoaim on it is ridiculously low, also it seems to really lack any real magnification when ADSed.

im pretty sure its NOT the M6C. it plays too differently and looks too different to be it.

Change your key bindings. It's literally just a different aesthetic. There's no penalty to hip-fire, or shouldn't be. On Reddit there was a video disproving this though. Hopefully it's fixed.

Recon controls is the closest to classic controls, just use that.

I like almost everything.

The aesthetics though, they are bad. Not as Halo 4 bad, but still not as good as 3/Reach.

-TTK makes the game too easy
-Spartan shaders are revolting
-Announcer sounds sarcastic

Announcer sounds sexual
ADS is wierd(luckily Recon controls)
DMR is nasty

The only thing I like about the chatter is that my ally Spartans start yelling at me if I shoot them and I think it's absolutely hilarious.

Haven't actually played the game as I don't have the console and won't probably get one, but judging from the many videos I've seen so far I really like the direction they're going.

It's fast paced, and as someone mentioned there's a learning curve somewhere in there. Smart scoping is basically just the zoom animation replaced and it's good there's less auto-aim than in the previous games. Every weapon is useful, and pretty much unique unlike in Halo 3 for example where you have 234526 weapons, only a few competitively useful ones, and half of the weapon sandbox being clones of each other with only difference being if they were made by humans or the Covenant. I'd love to see some covie weapons in Halo 5, though. I just hope they'd make 'em useful and stand out from the rest of the sandbox. The only complaint is that with an AR or a SMG you can smoke a guy with a BR in a long range battle! Oh, and the spartan chatter is a good thing, ever since the Halo 3 era there have been lots of people not talking into the mic so no communicaton whatsoever... The option to turn the chatter off would be great, though.

I'm gonna stick to PC and Quake when it comes to arena FPS's though. :)

nothing is better then halo 3. i like the halo 5 beta dont like the smart scope, its useless and i barley use it and i do fine and the stabilizers are annoying but at lest that can be disabled. the game is hard and i never sucked in halo sins halo 1 came out on pc this is the first halo that i slightly suck at, i just dont do as good as i did in halo 1 2 3 and reach halo 4 will not count cus every one was good cus of the stupid bullet magnetism and that made me bored of that game.
