The Shredder in SPV3 is a replacement for the Spiker, and is described as "outdated tech" so it was given to the brutes. We know it won't act like it does in the SPV3 version, but we don't know if the "outdated tech" thing remains the same. I seem to recall that it doesn't do a lot of damage to shields, but it does do a lot to flesh. Could be remembering wrong though.

The Spiker and Shredder are totally different weapons in Evolved, only in SPV3 did we use the Shredder model to replace the Spiker.

As in, wow, look at that quote train. And btw, whoever (mvandam753) thinks that saying your a beta tester will get you in the map faster than anyone else, youll probably be the last to get it. If they wanted beta testers, they would contact you through a PM or something and youd have to do a bunch of stuff so that you dont tell anyone about the map until public release. Ive been an alpha tester for many games, such as War Thunder, World of Tanks, and other games, but I couldn't care less, because they had like 100,000 other testers, so they wouldn't have to rely on a few people, and they make you sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement. But I'm not saying I want to be a tester. I am absolutley fine with waiting for a public release, I've waited a while already, I can wait as long as I need to, I've got plenty of Halo CE matches to play to keep me occupied. Just remember, if they want you as a tester, they'll contact you first, not the other way around.

P.S.-- YSlayer12, I don't think I ever planned for any intimacy with the fanfiction........

I already know that that's how things work when you test a private beta, and I already know how the whole don't leak or post anything about works in progress because I've been in the same situlation plenty of times. I have no problem waiting. Just sucks to be that person who does nothing to help.

Today (and last night) we fixed a bunch of bugs that were found in the test build. The Hunter's texturing is underway and should be completed soon. I'm diving into the foliage task and will hopefully have it completed this weekend.

we're making some big sacrifices to keep our momentum going, and everybody working on this project has been putting in near-superhuman numbers of hours since the release crunch started back in may. we kind of saw this coming at the end of june, which is why we pushed back a month - and it still wasn't enough. it's disappointing and embarrassing, but it's better to lose some face than release that which isn't ready, right?
