I just want to clarify something I read on one of Masters new videos.
He wrote a comment to someone, and in that comment he basically said that you've canned the project, "Along side H2spp, which is irreverent I know". I just want a confirm that its not cancelled, I know that everyone jokes about it, but it's got me wondering myself now.

"Well H2SPP failed and so did the Sierra 117 project in CE, the engine is just to old to deal with a multitude of issues. If all goes well, I'd like to work on modding Halo Online but I am not seeing there being official support for that. Either way, we have lots of stuff to still do even when Part 1 of SPV3 releases, as we have part 2 and our bonus missions as well."

Here at halomaps we veterans have mastered the art of cancelling projects prior before release and are more than able to blow halo online out of the water with a simple shader.

So please just get a jar of peanut butter and a dog and just stay away from your pc until purgatory.

TAG EDITING IS NOT EQUAL TO AN EDITING KIT... WE CREATE NEW CONTENT WITHIN THE ENGINE WHILE THIS IS JUST EDITING WHATS ALREADY THERE. WE IMPORT NEW ASSETS AND CREATE NEW TAG FILES WHILE EDITING DOES NOT GIVE YOU THE ABILITY TO DO THAT. SO STOP SPAMMING EVERY SINGLE THREAD TELLING PEOPLE TO ABANDON THEIR PROJECTS FOR AN ENGINE WE CANT EVEN UTILIZE

The amount of ingorance here is rediculous. hopefull that clears things up for people

I look foreward to using these tools. Once one of these tag editors start being able to modify these tags, I can see a possibility of them eventually having importers allowing for us to create new tag files.

Update: I just beat Halo 1 on Legendary on the MCC. Unlocked about 18 achievements in that playthrough.

There is only one thread allowed for the Halo Online game. This forum is an on-topic forum only. This is a Halo Custom Edition forum.
I am sure you can figure it out from my response above but in case you need clarification let me explain again why links to any hacked Halo online or ANY hacked program are prohibited.

A Hacked program, like what they are doing with Halo Online, is a violation of the EULA (End User License Agreement), Copyright and intellectual Property laws of of all western, 1st and 2nd world countries. As such hacking the game is not legal and if I allow links to the distribution of those files I and my company become personally libel for possible legal action. Legal action that could cost me many thousands of dollars even if I won the suit.

I have already been issued a cease and desist order for the links I have removed so it is clear that MS is monitoring this forum for links to the hacked files. I am not some snot nosed punk ass kid trying to thumb my nose at the "establishment". I have a business and a family to support so I am not about to let some falsely entitled self-centered wanna be game hackers cost me.

Besides that it is just wrong.

I understand, but if you put a board on this forum "halo online discussion" that would be great because people like me want to discuss about the game. However as you said there should not be hacking tools involved in this board if you put up halo online discussion board you can make a rules for it that no hacks should be here.

I can't barely go on halo online thread no more because they kept hating on the game.


That would be great Dennis. Beside we understand that the game is not officially released but for now we need halo online discussion board to discuss about the game. Just give it a try.

You obviously do not understand. However, there is a clue to be had by my statement that "This is a Halo Custom Edition forum".
The game is not released in the US, or Europe or Down under and so far is limited to the Russian market.

If one was in the mind to extrapolate from the existing evidence and casual observation one might come to the realization that all the games we have discussion boards for here in this forum have official editing kits whereas the other 5 Halo games which do not are not represented.

I am not ruling anything out but so far ALL the discussion of the Halo Online game has been about the unlawful hacking of the game. And this is the part of the conversation where I point you to my last post.
