I can't handle this any more. 7 hours of decorating, 5 hours of bsb work, 2 hours of taging, yet this stupid error still occurs! Why is my map rendering red/yellow/orange spots in my map! What am I doing wrong with my lightmaps! Some people told that this happens when 2 scenarios are in the map, but I only have one! Everything looks fabulus in Sapien, yet in game, the map looks like mario. I am so pissed right now... Any ideas on how to solve this?

I can't post pictures but heres what I did. After finishing everything related with my scenario, it was time to add a sky. Used my sky, by adding it from the sky properties in the scenario tag. Worked wonderfully. Run lightmaps through tool, os_tool lightmaps levels/test/pawned/pawned pawned 0 0.9. Boom, tool sais done and my whole map is ruined.

Normal tool gives me an error.. Something with "syntax" on it.. File is to big, something like that...

Nop. Normal Sapien won't open my map cause I am working with OS shader extension's which normal HEK doesn't support.

Yes. Screen freezes and computer doesn't respond, and I have to manually close it through the task manager.

Oh... Yeah, haven't thought about that. Ok, I will give it another shot with OS_Sapien and I will let you guys know if it worked.

odd tool lightmaps don't work for me at all (command works but there is no change). but sapien works fine. if sapien freezes wait about 10 minutes. then once that time has gone by hit the tild key and even if the console doesn't show up type radiosity_save and hit enter. my old laptop did the same thing

Thanks Killzone for the advice, and all of you for helping me out. I will test it through OS_Sapien and see if that works. And the Polycount I don't remember the number, but I will post some screenshots as fast as I get my hands on my pc. But it shouldn't be that big, it's a small map.

Delete the lightmap bitmap. Run radiosity again Maybe set the bitmap to simple.

Ok guys, I tried OS_sapien, still the same thing. I also tried removing the lightmaps bitmap, so I can run a fresh new bitmaps with os_tool/sapien but the radiosity and lightmaps proccess can't be made without a bitmap to mod. Why does HEK hate me?

Tool or sapien will create a new bitmap. You don't need to mod one.

The_Doctor, yes, 2 f#cking times, yet... And Maniac, tool and sapien can't make a new bitmap themeselfs. They already need a bitmap. I know it sounds stupid but since I have already run lightmaps, tool and sapien can't create a new one.

When you run lightmap/radiosity, tool/sapien will create the bitmaps. Again, you don't need to mod anything.

Rerun structure and rebuild the entire bsp (which will rebuild your lightmap uvs too)
