This thread is for people who like race.

A little about myself: I've been indulging in the Halo "competitive" (pubs) scene since its release. I've got to the point that I still love slayer and whatnot but I've gotten more and more into RACE! Race is a more relaxed gametype where I can enjoy a beer in the gunner seat or find new, creative ways to conquer the track in the driver's seat.

I only play race on Halo Custom Edition. Having names above the arrows in-game is critical for picking up the right player with ease and speed. I play mostly stock maps since that's where the majority of the player base is. The stock maps are fun and everything and I've played a LOT of hours on them but it saddens me that there aren't more people in race servers with CUSTOM maps.

Anyone who likes race, please make yourself known. We can use this thread once in a while to collect a small team who will be willing to populate custom race servers, since that's definitely where it's at!

also love the races, although single CTF game in danger canyon, I like racing

I tried DMT Racing and it was very good for the background music and extensive map and also have tried the raceway of the creator that will next race map

I Kinda like race. Too bad race servers are usually empty...

I am now going to suggest that people who do like race, add eachother on xfire. I'll start.

This is a good way to actually populate servers with GOOD, CUSTOM mapcycles. With the race gametype.
