anyways, yea. The Xbox still doesn't have that "killer app" like Halo 3 was for 360.
so as a business POV its pretty understandable the distaste of PC releases.

This is good news, (Good news meaning I don't have to buy an xbox one for another year)

I thought this concept image released on the Halo Waypoint website was pretty interesting.



The curvy, almost Arabic-styled architecture is quite refreshing, along with the touch of flowing things, like the scattered flags and the wavy contrails of the (?ships?) overhead. The character in the lower right seems like it could be the hooded Chief, and that large figure sitting in the background almost looks like some sort of gigantic sentry.

Also, the scale is quite impressive. Hopefully we will see this reflected in the final product; it would be nice to have that Halo 1 feeling again.

There has been recent rumors that the concept art could be Sanghelios, the Elite home world.

The character on the cover art is completely new; not an existing character in new armor.

Couldn't it also be the chief just in a refitted armor worn by ancient humans? In halo 1, 343 did suggest he change to a class 12 armor suit?

We currently have no idea what the Master Chief looks like outside of his armor, aside from his eyes. His armor is his identity, how we're able to recognize him as the iconic mascot of the franchise. Changing his armor that drastically would be like changing his face.

I doubt he's going to stay in the same armor through the whole story. He's gonna have to upgrade if the elites were "primitives" he's gonna have some tough challenges and is gonna need better tech to dit. It makes sense.

Side Note: We know the chief is a hyper lethal white boy too

i could definitely set that up XD they both are just over an hours drive from where i live

If you've seen the legendary ending to halo 4, you've seen pretty much his entire face.

He's basically the most badass looking middle aged albino ever.

His armor is iconic though, I'll definitely give you that. We could see his face a million times and still prefer it be covered by his helmet just because that's how know him best. They would definitely never change it that drastically


In addition to what echo said though, 343 (and a few other forum members, for that matter) have already stated that the man on top is a NEW character. So there's a 100 percent chance every guess we make pertaining to his identity will be wrong. Because he's a NEW CHARACTER.

unless of course you own a time machine, or work at 343i

Upon further bland research they seemed to be saying that Halo TV thing will be in 2015 as well. And now there's of course those rumors of Halo 1-4 Collection for Xbox One which is a big no no don't do that.

Then of course H2A which is an annoying market strategy but will still work so...great. I'll wait 2 or so weeks to see.

It also has a lot of practical tests.

I'm only using it for the basics personally, as I actually do like walls of text, since I can memorise them, but I think it seems great for most people.



Why is the Halo 1-4 Collection a big no no? A lot of former PS3 gamers are buying Xbox Ones this time around(and vice versa ofc), so it might end up being their first entry into the Halo series if it exists.

Plus, on the off chance that it gets ported to PC, which would be awesome, we'd finally have 2(un-Vista)-4.(not going to be too hopeful though :/)
