As much as I hate to take a giant sh** on this parade, why? If he's making content who the hell cares? Are you upset about him disrupting some kind of 'purity'? Is this some kind of neo-nazi circlejerk I stumbled into?

The sword is overly overpowered, glitchy and game breaking. This sword alone on delta-ruins is the way to go to have a good time.

If you're as bigoted and belligerent in your crit as you are in your opinion of him then I can see why.

When Google translate hosts this forum then Google translate can have an opinion.

Ha, I'm just saying. I haven't looked into how to integrate Google services within sites, but I do notice that if you click 'English' in that box all the spanish posts become legible in the master language. You have to do another one prior to it, though, and then click back (I prefer latin for this). If you could set this as a default this issue could probably be rectified in one fell swoop

On another note, English kinda reminds me of white people. I mean, it's not like other languages are more prevalent or any less objectively desirable, but much like the caucasian race we tend to regard it higher than the rest for inexplicable reasons.

Well, maybe not so inexplicable. I feel a good case study of economical & media demographics could be in order.

The primary language of the forum is English. Using the word "primary" is an indication that it may not be the only language. We do not outright discriminate and know that nuance and meaning may be lost in any translation. Knowing that there are times when only the native language may be suitable for a response we allow other languages; with the caveat that an attempt be made to offer a translation.

We have supplied the Google translate widget as a courtesy for non English speakers in an attempt to be more inclusive and know that they may not know English.

The reason why the primary language of the forum is completely irrelevant, knowing that it is is sufficient for proper operation and decorum.

However if/when you do get around to the case study I would be truly and sincerely interested in the findings and data.

Oh, don't worry, I know why that's the case - not criticizing it at all here (confusing I know, seeing as that's the norm). Just kinda voicing my curiosity as to why that's become the case not only on this forum but pretty much anywhere in the business world. English is seen as the 'master' language; universal in its function and used to bridge the gap even though others may be better candidates for this role.

I think I'll look into this. Thank you for indulging me. I guess we can go back on topic now, whatever that topic is.

Tiel introducing Google Translate in the site just for latinamericans is a bad idea cause they can't even write their own freaking language right, GT can't even make a good translation with proper grammar, imagine what happens when you translate their text? And Spanish is not the main language in the forums, we have French people, Dutch, Germans, Italians and so on. Letting them post in Spanish will be unfair to these people who try their best to post in English.

I don't think you understand what I was saying there at all. I suggest re-reading my posts a bit c:

Translators translate formal, unconjugated languages. Spanish has alot of slang and informalities (coming from someone who speaks spanish, as well as English, Japanese, German and some Italian), so you can't possibly hope to understand it if all you've studied was formal spanish. Just like Americans have slang terms, so does every other language. Even those can't be tracked because you'd be running under the assumption that all spanish speaking individuals are in the same region, etc. In fact, many native speakers have to go through spanish courses like everyone else, just like how Americans go through English. Letting them post in spanish is fine. They're not asking you to understand them. They aren't trying to make broad strokes with a brush to make each and every piece of work a masterpiece. They're having fun and doing what they want. They reserve the right to do so and you reserve the right to criticise them for it. Even with that being said, if a spanish-speaking individual makes a conscious effort to try to speak english to accomodate the english demographic, who are you to criticize them?

Spanish is my main language, and so it's English, my country is a Colony from the US and both languages are official. We don't judge people who try, we mean the ones that start making troll threads in Spanish, some of them named nn,mm and stuff like that. I studies Italian and French in University, even if I didn't, people have interneta nd there's no excuse to only speak one language, or barely speak it, they kill Spanish in the threads they make.

LoL I really like it that from the troll posts in this thread, you quote mine, me who has been translating not only tutorials to Spanish, but also official posts from Bungie like HEK's user guide. Do you know, or at least have an idea, how much time and effort i put in them?? Do you know how many Spanish-speakers I help daily, the first Halo 3ds max tutorial video on Spanish was made by me on Dwood's and Moooseguy's request 4 years ago. Ask people like DFagent from Chile if my tutorials helped him or if I went racist mode on him.

Sorry, I am not mad at you, don't think that lol, I just want to clarify that I did tutorials, and still do, in Spanish. And, btw, I actually like The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, and The SOS brigade =D

Ignorance to certain aspects of others lives grants me the leisure of passing judgement upon them without repercussion or moral digression. However, in this case, I had no possible way of knowing of the things you did and the people you've helped. In the past 6 months, I've logged onto this site about 10 times, with most "sessions" being either too far and far between or too close to consider unique (I may log in multiple times in a day but only because inactivity logs me out.)

With that being said, I appreciate your efforts and want to clarify, myself, that while I may have quoted you directly, my post was not targetting you in any way.
