Was wondering if anybody wanted to make the Halo weapon models to replace the stock L4D weapons (and animations, as a result) as a whole pack, I was thinking:
Pistol - M6C (the Halo 2 pistol for the uninformed, it fits really well considering its low power and rate of fire)
Desert Eagle - M6D, cause everyone loves the Jebus pistol. Or if you think the 12 rounds of the M6D is too much, you can always go for the H3 M6G...8 rounds, nails the target.
SMG/Uzi - M7 SMG (seems to fit really well considering its reload animation only needs to be extended a bit to fit with the original L4D SMG anims)
Silenced SMG/Mac-10 - Silenced M7 SMG (maybe just remove the holographic sight as it'd seem out of place - the L4D silenced smg is from the criminal underground according to Valve)
M-16/Assault Rifle - MA5B (M16 has 50 rounds, MA5B has 60 rounds, it also has a very fast firing rate so why not? The ammo counter could be a problem, I've yet to think of what should replace it...
AK-47 - MA5C (32 rounds, closest to the AK, also has a slower fire rate, might need to use the firing sounds from H3 ODST though, they seem to sound more powerful than the H3 AR. Again, the ammo counter would need to be removed/replaced)
Combat/Desert Rifle//SCAR-L - BR55HB (H3 Battle Rifle), its 3-round burst is begging to be the SCAR here, and the scope and ammo counter can be removed and replaced with optics where the counter used to be (MG36 style).
Hunting Rifle/Ruger Mini-14 - M392 DMR (Reach DMR), fits pretty damn well - both have ammo capacity of 1 rounds, and the rates of fire aren't too far from each other.
Sniper Rifle/HK MSG90 - M395 DMR (H4 DMR) or maybe switch them around because I like looking at the Reach DMR more than the H4 one :P
M60 - Halo 4's M739 SAW seems good, just need to remove the ammo counter or replace it with something, possibly M60-style sights? This and the M395 DMR are the only H4 weapons I'm thinking to use as replacers as I myself have never really liked the art direction of 343, the weapons all look too sci-fi, it sounds ridiculous yes but they just feel too much like star trek or star wars or whatever...I guess because in the end you're just unloading brass and hot lead at the enemy, no need for the bells and whistles.
Grenade Launcher/M79 - Without doubt, the M319 grenade launcher from Halo Reach. The reload animations could be extended as the M79's casing has to be removed when reloaded, whereas the M319 is a 'caseless' grenade.
The shotguns are a bit more difficult...there's not much variety haha, in terms of non-aesthetic differences...but I have a bit of a general idea:
Pump shotgun (wooden furniture) - Law enforcement version of the M90 (would appear very similar to a Remington 870)
Chrome shotgun - Law enforcement again, but with maybe a blued steel finish or chrome finish to indicate it's the chrome shotgun. Or maybe even the military versions for the pump and chrome shotguns as they're also pump-action, the M90A comes into mind, 6 shell capacity, close to L4D's 8, and a very beautiful firing and pumping animation make it very nice. Maybe both the pump and chrome could both be M90As but with aesthetic differences.
M1014/Tactical shotgun - The auto shotguns are pretty hard to decide on as Halo doesn't have auto shotguns...so I'm just going to stick with the military shotguns here, you don't see auto shotguns slated for civilian use now lol. Perhaps the M1014 could be the M90 Mk. I from Halo 1...probably have to modify the model to make it look more like an auto shotgun.
SPAS-12/Combat shotgun - Maybe the M90 Mk. II? Again this might have to be modified to look like an auto shotgun.
These are just concept ideas and if anybody is willing to take this up and release a pack, I will download it like there is no tomorrow.
EDIT: Whoops, nearly forgot, the mounted guns...
M2 Browning - M247 GPMG (mounted version, not the portable ones seen being carried by Sgt. Johnson), or, due to the M2HB using a .50 BMG round, the M247H from Halo: Reach, it just looks bulkier and at a glance you think it's a heavy machine gun.
M134 Minigun - AIE-486 HMG (H3 machine gun turret) the H3 version is actually a medium machine gun as the boxes say it takes 7.62mm rounds, but what do you know, the M134 also uses 7.62 rounds but who cares, both have SPINNY BARRELS :D
2nd EDIT: maybe a few other item changes...the ammo piles for example, maybe change the L4D2 versions to show ammo packets used in the Halo series etc. Edited by Bottletopman on Feb 22, 2014 at 09:43 PM

I would rather see a l4d halo ce mod rather than a halo mod for l4d. Nothing against source, it would just feel out of place to have halo characters and weapons killing zombies in a world that takes place in modern times, not 500 years in the future.
