Got this one at Best buy in July 2012 for $1200, overheats just by turning it on, plays League of Legends and Minecraft jumping fps from 7 to 10 all day.

lol yes.... but does it have an hdmi? OWNED! does it have a Blu-ray reader? DOUBLE-OWNED! can parts be replaced? TRIPLE-OWNED! does it have a gpu that is high-end? OWNED-TACULAR! yep... totally just did that.... lol OWNING SPREE! GAME OVER!

also I can get any of the productive software for free thanks to my college, PERFECTION!

No, it doesn't.

And even though I bought a laptop (the one i posted), i'd never use it to do really "serious work". they are limited, even if you have the greatest one in the world. And i don't think you get the point either - just because something out performs the other, doesn't make a difference - there's a point where it performs better and then there's a point where it performs better and doesn't matter. laptops are only going to be so fast, no matter what you put in them. they are limited. Spending over 2 grand on a laptop is pretty ridiculous and if you're smart enough you would never spend that kind of money on that because you would know your money could be invested into better technological opportunity's than a name brand item like a Mac, or at the very least, a laptop.

Yes to HDMI, No to blu ray, which is fine by me because the tradeoffs are worth it, Storage is replaceable and TB2 is basically PCI-E on a cable allowing for expansion (including GPU's), and yeah it has a high end GPU, as well as Isis Pro which I can switch between at anytime.

Lucky for me, my productivity software costs only $10, although my College also offers us free software too.

@Higuy I bought this as my only computer for the next 6 years, you can debate the real world performance and function of it, but you should check out anandtech's analysis of it's predecessor if you want to get an idea of what makes the RMBP in a class of it's own. If good enough is okay for you for 6 years.. well then that works for you. Not for me.

uh, you're going to have a mobile GPU in a laptop, that's what they're for. The only mac desktop with desktop class GPU's are the Mac Pros.

which last I checked weren't so hot. good news about having a bluray in my laptop, when mom and I stay at my grandma's hotel over the holidays, we have some movies to watch if I remember to bring an hdmi cable

I got this Laptop for less than £700 ($1143) and that's honestly a good deal.
(The one in the link was even less costly but I got a few extra stuff). Too bad you can't get it anymore w/ discount.

On topic: Make the base roof higher- Otherwise you get a weird view from the warthog turret inside.

yea that is a good spec setup, for a good amount of pounds/quid/euro/dollars

I wish the falcon was easier to pilot, its a pain to aim, shoot, and be steady

x1 server shutting down then restarting
x1,000,000 Altis claiming to people they are of the African American race.

I never mentioned anything about african american people. What are you talking about? And it is my server so I ban and mute who I want. If you don't like that then go to HMU server.

Hey Altis!

When i tried to join the bigass server this morning, it showed a message that i was banned. Thats weird because the last time I played yesterday, everything was well and ok.
When i had to go, i just left the server after saying bye (nobody banned me, I did nothing wrong, thats why I think that someone is mistaken and banned the wrong guy).
Could you please unban me? It's my favourite map, seriously :o

Just wanted to say that I totally agree with this. The sounds of a battlefield would most likely scare off any birds so I suggest finding a track with just rolling wind over hilly plains. Furthermore as Higuy said, the ambience of the map feels very 'cold'. The sound of the wind is reminiscent of Sidewinder and other cold places. Perhaps you could the low sound of crickets or something to make the map feel warmer?

A badass screenie to take would be the vehicles leaving the base as a new game starts, no one ever sees it but it looks always cool
