Out of all the custom maps you have downloaded which ones are you favorites? If you like include your favorite server that uses custom maps.

My favorites are.

All the H3 style campaign maps.

H3 core

H3 Imposing V2

Pry-H4-Infinity map.

I love these maps and many others . A big thank to the people who made them.

So what are your favorite maps and servers using custom maps?

I used to play alot of AutumnSlay



it's a pretty odd laid out map. every time I played it I was able to think up a new gametype to play by
hog dodging in the tube.
grenade hang time with the ramp.
hide n seek with the motion tracker turned off.
different stuff maaan

I love Autumn Slay's aesthetic. It's actually the reason I doubled the allowed BSP polys in HAC 2; couldn't stand the glitches.

I should really try Autumn Slay one of these days...

Personally, here're my favorites:

  • Precipice

  • Revelations

  • Altis' Bigass (that WIP map from a couple months ago)

  • Mystic

  • H3 Foundry

  • Sciophobia (great memories of Zombie games there)

  • (Firefight Descent... except it's not a MP map)

New Mombasa Classic, Cliffhanger, Fissure Falls, Requiem... Among others.

Personally I find custom maps that use the classic weapon set work best. This isn't to say that a lot of the custom work isn't extremely impressive, just that the classic set is the most balanced and looks/sounds best.

Favourite servers that run custom maps? The only ones that are populated are the 24/7 yoyorast server and the 24/7 immure server.

I started to host custom maps on my server but no one joins :(

Anyone down for a gamenight?

but seriously both those maps suck. the concept is awesome but its poorly executed...

the maps that i have had the most fun on would have to include

h3 sandtrap

h3 valhalla

portent

sanctuary

headlong

lanthanum (mine not released yet) H3 odst based firefight. lanthanum basically translates into, "to remain hidden" in Greek.

there's a points system, earn points every round.

then buy weapons, ammo, reinforcement ai, place barricades
from the purchase menu in the start screen.

truth and recon by Malolo420
supposedly it syncs online by having the ai spawn after game start

ai_sync by kirby_422
another working mp_sync method involving vehicles attached to biped

founndry by jesse, looks and feels just like halo 3

Ah yes, I did try that one out with my buds once. Sadly, the AIs wouldn't sync :/

Yeah i loved that one although the map trinity (i think that's its name beta or something) is probable better because its in space so it feels more haloish. (canon)
