Another Halo, another unconfirmed PC port rumor. Do we really have to go through this discussion every time a new Halo game comes out? Don't get me wrong I would like to see a PC port, but the simple fact is that it's most likely not going to happen. If it turns out to be true that would be great, but unless there's on official word from Microsoft or 343, I wouldn't count on it.

I heard this type of rumour for Reach, and anniversary.... honestly I think this is not going to happen. Microsoft all of a sudden decides Halo should be on the PC again?... seems unlikely to me. And so I won’t get my hope up for this or any other future Halo.

I think the main difference between the last 3 Halo games, and Halo 4 is that; 4 is the start of a new trilogy. So its quite plausible in my opinion that Microsoft would try to expand into the PC gaming market. My theory is that Microsoft will try to make the Live market place more relevant to PC gamers by making it a larger component in Windows 8. But in order to do this I think an appropriate "launch title" for this new Live market place would be Halo 4. Just a theory but meh, maybe they're trying to compete with Steam?

There is nothing more in this world I would love than a Halo 3, Reach, or Halo 4 HEK with the openess of Halo CE's HEK.

I think the idea of a modding or editing kit is what turns microsoft away from pc games.
A locked up halo 4 pc would be nice though, we would have to resort to halp pc style modding :)

If MS/Bungie/343i actually had the balls to give us the Halo games from 3-onwards for PC right now, it may be late, but at least it would be a step in the right direction.

F*** Win8, I like my Win7 better. I don't see why MS had to hold back their flagship game from getting ported to PC just so they can launch a new OS that takes X360 games - porting the Halo games to PC earlier would have been good business sense, but nobody had it over there. Seriously, WTF.

One reason why Halo isn't being released on the PC is because of 'Piracy', honestly Halo CE and Halo 2 were overly-pirated... so if I was the leader of the company and I had a choice of either "Releasing it on the PC, lose money, please the Public or Release only on the Xbox, partially please the public, don't lose money to piracy", I would release it to only the Xbox... Thank the pirates for that.

What's wrong with my 3870T ?! huh?!
It runs everything fine, I'm not gonna upgrade unless an actual GOOD PC game comes out. ( though the rest of my PC is pretty overkill :P )
