I said the linework is a PART of concept art... for finding a good silhouette, and then you need to give it depth and design.

And if I say your an idiot for using flash then there is your crit, retard... that means DONT use flash... use a program which is intended for concept art. It isn't rocket science... use the line tool, dont use the "excuse" that you dont know how to use it, it's almost the same.

I was going give you some indepth crit but im not even going to waste my time.

Hunter, some times you can be the most ignorant person on the face of Halomaps. I like ya and all, but you give down right horrible criticism which usually leads to pointless debates like this.

The program that I use to make the concept makes absolutely no difference, the only thing that matters is the quality of the work itself. If you consider criticizing my choice of programs to be valid crit, then you are an idiot. I could use MS Paint, and if the quality was still high enough, no one would know the difference or really care. I am in no way making excuses, I'm using a program that I know how to use, and has served me well in the past.

Case in point: http://www.bobble.tucker933.com/halo6.swf

Im glad you decided not to criticize my work to be honest, based on your general attitude towards me and it so far, I doubt it would be something I could honestly use to improve my work.

This AR looks a whole lot better than the other one. But what's that notch in the stock for?

Nothing in particular, just an aesthetic choice, the stock seemed a bit too big to me.

"your an idiot" = pro crit
"DONT use flash" = pro crit

yup makes sense

I don't think you really understand what it is to give crit. Your first comment about depth is spot on and is actually crit, but the rest of your post is just not crit at all. It's one thing to tell him "hey you're doing this wrong" another thing to say "hey you're doing this wrong and here's how to fix it." however you're not doing much of either of those.

also it seems like this is exactly how all of your crit attempts play out. I feel like you use that "i'm not gonna bother with in depth crit because you're just too dumb" every time someone takes offense to your "crit"

Are you seriously using a animation package to do "concept" art... lines mean nothing, a line design is the FIRST step to designing concepts and is used to find a nice outline.

Why do you even come to these forums...?

Any final changes I should make?

Not necessarily. If you just make the silhouette and then extrude parts of the gun you get a very boxy look. Ideally a modeller should have as many reference images as possible, from as many different angles as possible.

Guys, guys, don't worry about it, Im going to do front, back, and probably a bottom and top profile, as well as 3D perspectives.

Each mag only has 3 rounds?

Nah, its just a waste of time to animate the entire 20 round magazine, when it is all the same movements repeated :P
