No. I'd take a guess and say that the source has pretty much no commercial value by this point. Edited by Btcc22 on Dec 21, 2012 at 03:45 PM Edited by Btcc22 on Dec 21, 2012 at 03:45 PM

that's amazing so it allows the game to detect maps you don't have yet? that will be really helpful in custom map games, no more guessing

I know its possible for anyone to do it, but It would be cool if someone were to store most if not all the maps that are played at any given time.

I'll be hosting a Master Server with the highest rated, and the monthly most popular maps, if that answers your question.

Ideally each dedi would server the maps it is running, but otherwise the master servers hosted by volunteers would have a selection of popular maps and a subset of less played maps to encourage more varied custom map servers.
The only management Korn and I will do is to control the pool of master servers available to the OS userbase, so the maps that are actually served will be controlled by the master server hosts. This lends itself to scenarios such as a clan that owns a number of dedi's having a master server on their website hosting the maps running on those dedi's.

No it wont unfortunately. And It doesn't really work well modeling it in the FP view. You cant zoom and have it, and you can't have it turn red when you put the reticule over a target.

Quick question concerning installation:
After I've installed OS to my computer the normal way, is there any way to move it onto a flashdrive so I can play OS maps wherever?
Thanks.

I thought that this was to do with the overall amount of tags a .scenario could reference, from vehicles and bipeds to shaders and bitmaps (correct me if I'm wrong) and this could be increased similar to the tag space being increased in version 3.0. Edited by ERNIE on Dec 26, 2012 at 08:35 PM

Tag slots are bit different than map cache file size. You can bypass the filesize limit using Tool Pro or OS Tool. As for tag slots,I do not know how that can be increased above maximum. Edited by Dumb AI on Dec 26, 2012 at 09:42 PM

Make sure you be as descriptive as possible in what's wrong when filing an issue (especially follow the template instructions). Your post from earlier isn't really descriptive at all.
And the OS HEK writes to the debug.txt file in your "<User>\Documents\My Games\Halo CE\OpenSauce\Reports" folder. Check the error OS_sapien is logging first before filing your issue.
Also, the maximum number of tag instances has been upgraded by 25% since 3.0 was released. If you're hitting that limit, you really need to optimize your tag set.

You mean the maximum number of rendered objects? That's like 1024 objects IIRC. You seriously have more than that being rendered at once?
