Here's what's left. -Residental buildings -High School -College School -Police Station -Fire Station -Prison -Mall -Warehouse -Racing Arena -Bus Stops -Widening the roads -Reconstructing the layout a bit to allow for a more "city-like" feel -Adding in cliffs to the part where it conjoins with the main Blood Creek map That should be it, for the campus. Then we do the Dynamic Time System for Day-Night; then finalize things and release. So yes, there will be an end. I just see too few buildings in the campus and too much undevelopment.

You're making it way to complex and big for a 16 player game. Prison, Mall, Warehouse, Arena can all be cut out.

Exactly, it's an overlay animation where it replaces the shooting animation and it'll never be accurate to the center of the screen, the gun will always sway because of the overlays.

I once heard of a "memory hack" external app that allegedly allowed for >16 people to join a CE game. Unfortunately, however, it was never fully tested and the results that were determined, however, yielded that >16 people caused a gathering exception data error. I was, myself, given the app, although I lost it in a crash and loss of data therefore, and I wanted to fill a server past sixteen players, but never got around to it. Could someone please either... a) point me to the application responsible for extending the Halo CE limit ...Or... b) Help determine if it's even possible and code a way, even if albeit into Open Sauce *coughs towards Kornman00's direction with a closed-mouth quiet cough* ...And make this possible?

Depends on how subtle the overlays are and not if you're standing till. if the overlays are subtle, it wont be off target that much. The M4 is dead accurate for the first 3 shots before spread makes it a bitch.

e3po was the person that i saw do it. it didnt work it would never show more than 16 players in the lobby and when a 17th player thied to join, either it crashed the server or they couldnt join.
Korn in the only hope, and i think i remember him saying that it was a really big job and he didnt want to do it, maybe because the netcode is not meant for it. Edited by Maniac1000 on Dec 28, 2011 at 09:56 PM

I don't exactly agree; as I like the idea, and have used them many times while kicking Rambo's ass on his own map. They work just fine until you start spamming the trigger. It all depends on the base animations. On the MP5 he has theyre horrible, on the M4; I love them.

In consistency, I agree. We'll see how it all ends up. Like Rambo said earlier today, this project was based as a stress test for the engine, to see its true limits, and to do things that had never before been done in CE, or at least publicly announced. (D+N system, Working Iron Sights on most weapons, Bloom/OS Shaders, Specular and Normals, things I forgot, etc)
