Hello, everybody, and welcome to our newest Blood Creek thread. This is a work-in-progress or WIP thread. Here, we will promo everything we're doing on the map as of now on up to the release. Some will be stills; others will be videos to watch.
Please note: The content you see here is negotiable and is *NOT!!!* final. It can, may, and will change over the course of time.
With that said, let's get started.

As one of the members of the team developing this map (Animator; Weapon Modeler; Scenery Modeler;Rambo's best frand [lolskinda]) I have my own content to post for this thread. I so far have contributed to the M67 HE Frag grenade. (Model & Animations, original crap texture) The Beretta M9 handgun (Models & Textures: Infinity Ward; Animations: Me ) Modern Warfare 3 M4A1 Carbine/Assault Rifle (Model + Textures-IW Ripping, model fixing, etc-Me Animations-IMBrokeRU's MW2 M4 animations) This map will include an extensive weapon tag set, brand new concepts (at least new for CE), and will fit up to 16 players in Close-Quarter, fast paced, Battlefield 3/Call of Duty/Counter Strike-ish combat! Also, Note, this project will support Open Sauce for things like Day and Night sky boxes (Map starts at Dusk, ends at Dawn, or some time during night, depends on game length), Normal Maps, Specular Maps, et cetera.

Bloodgulch mods are fun sometimes. I played a bumper cars mod on regular Halo and it was great fun. The warthogs' speed was boosted, and there were more of them than usual. And rocket hogs could fly, but it was really hard to fly them so it was fun trying to catch people. Anyway, stop discussing whether or not maps are good because it's all down to personal opinions. lot of these tags are going to be refurbished, normals and specular will be added, etc, for an overlal nicer effet. SOme models/Textures will be updated, like the M16A4 ALSO, Updaets:

We are working on a immense Day-Night system for this game, too. Look for the new dynamic time system or DTS for short.

I've been waiting for a dynamic time system for this game for ages. Will you be adding in amazing skies to accompany the system or using the default skies?

I'll consider making a new Skydome or two, just something more detailed and prettier than the original But yeah, thanks for all the support, ladies and gentleman. Also: NEW P90! (Yes, we will get specular and mormal mapping thanks to OS) And, WIP Scar Animations. Just, nvm them for now, Im scrapping them and re-doing it.

I, in my personal opinion, don't like those fp arms. I think they would look better with fingerless gloves maybe.
The m16 also looks too light and i think you should use the modern warfare crosshair reticule that the tac br uses, instead of the h1 ar reticule.
New p90 looks sexy and so does the m9. Nice work :)

Rambo, Will you ever finish this map, and not keep adding and adding and adding? It seems to me like there really is no end to this map, which is why i have been the way i have been about it. I have become, i dunno the word for it atm, disheartened? with this project, i dont see the end of the tunnel and am therefore reluctant to help. does that make sense? AFAIK we're almost done.
The BSP is nearly complete, aside from a few buildings (Campus at least), and then all we'll do is update the textures, and make sure everything is more or less nice visually.

Not the 2d ones, theyre actually animated and move with the gun, not just a scope-mask bitmap thing @Maniac1k, i get you were talking to Rambo, but since hes not really much of a poster Im telling you what I can/know

They're overlays.
It's based of the firing animaton, which on that gun is not prominent. If you look at the other Blood Creek weapons with sights (M16) the weapon kicks like a mule.
