Is there any way of adjusting the rays that the sun casts? I'm meaning that effect when something passes in front of the sun, it creates rays around it. Very noticeable with trees. I had a look at the .sky tag but couldn't see anything in there that affected it. Is there something elsewhere that defines this? I'm guessing it's another locked thing, without using OS or something...

Should be in the lens flare tag associated with the sky you're using.

I checked - specifically, I deleted the entire set of lens flares temporarily, but the sun rays effect is still there, which is why I wonder whether it is hard coded. I have no idea where the information on the sun is located, and it doesn't appear to be affected by what is in the sky tag...!

There should be a checkbox labeled "sun" in the lens flare tag.

Are you talking about the "corona"?
The circle effects when looking at the sun.

hes talking about the ray effect, eg if you look through some leaves at the sun you'll see rays of golden light...

in my experience, i have found no way to change it. im pretty sure its hard coded.

Yes, the rays are hard - coded into the renderer/rasterizer and cant be changed. Sorry about that.
