is this normal? will it look like this in game? i tried messing with the smoothing groups but nothing changed.

Flip the faces. The black faces need to be fixed, even on the rubber of the hands. That's because the emf importer isn't 100% perfect

You would have to weld all the vertexes after you finish flipping everything and reassign smoothing groups, otherwise the model looks ugly ingame and it takes a long time to export.

Turn on backface cull in the object properties.

That would actually sometimes make it harder to flip the faces.

weld the verts and click Unify Normals. That will get the normals to all face in or out, together. If it's a poly, you might have to convert to editable mesh to use Unify. Not sure.
