I need to know if I will have to reinstall halo CE or can I just copy it to my new uncorrupt hardrive? if so I need to know if it will work and if there are any known bugs with the OS switch.

As for the new OS, I don't think you will have any problems. I recently bought a gaming rig and I run Windows 7 on it. I have not had any problems playing/modding Halo on it. Hope this helps. -Yoda

You will have to format your drive to install a new OS. And you can't simply drag a program across, you have to install it so it makes the registry values ect... it's not hard to install it anyway.. why would it be an issue..

Don't they have an upgrade version that allows you to keep programs and files intact? Even so, whenever making a change like that I ALWAYS would back up anyway, but just saying.
