He's refering to the guys where on the covenant level at the point after you have to head back to the beach where the marines drop off hornets for you to use, those marines that get out the hornets are pilots, the helmet is the only difference.

You could just use the pilot from Halo 1.

The Halo 1 pilot was the one you see in the "Bumblebee"-class drop-pod in the ending cinematic of The Pillar of Autmn and the beginning cinematic of Halo.

If there wasn't a biped, you wouldn't be able to see the pilot, now would you?

It's not a working biped, not totally. At first it'll fall to the ground... not sure what it's rigged to either

When I had a look, it was just standing there, arms spread so it (the biped) looked like a "T".

you could edit the halo 1 pilot to work correctly (the pilot from halo 1 looks the best imo anyway)

The H1 pilot is the best, and she's female too.

But her tags were not created to fight, walk and play in-game like regular marines are.
Since she was for cinematic purposes only, someone needs to edit the model and give her a marine collision to match. If placed in-game as is, she falls through the map and does not animate properly according to how a marine biped would function.

shouldn't be too hard, right? (i'm no expert on bipeds)

all it sounds like is a re rig and made to match the marine collision and animations, possibly some new dialouge and face permutations.

Yea a re-rig and mapping like a marine would work, since they are similarly designed.
She had a cooler helmet than the armored marines.

A dialogue for her would help though one was never created. I assume she can use dialogue like the other marines since her biped is able to talk in cinematic.

Hopefully another female warrior will be added to the Halo universe war

The marine voices can be adjusted to sound female easily enough, although i'm not quite sure how she'd sound screaming with an australian accent.

Also, doesn't Cortana qualify as your so called "female warrior"? (she did after all, have more enemy kills than any one soldier in the entirety of the Human Covenant war [blowing away a few dozen covenant carriers and super carriers with all hands onboard does tend to make your kill count spike])

I said "another" female warrior, not the only one. Yes Cortana counts, especially with her larger-than-soldier-life deathtoll. There's also the female halo 2 marine who kicks covenant butt and assists against the hunters on one particular level.

How awesome is her look compared to the others (boss helmet reminds me of the matrix)

*insert badass Halo 1 pilot pic here*
Yeah, compared to the others:

Halo 2:

Halo 3:

I prefer the look of the Halo 1 pilot, for sure. Sometimes, better graphics doesn't mean better looks.

Cyclops from X-Men helmet style vs The other helmet fishbowl styles

H1 wins no doubt.

Checked the biped tags again. In order for her to carry weapons and
stuff, she needs animations and IK point redone like the marines.

Carol Rawley is also another H1 female pilot. She is Foe Hammer.

Her voice can be heard during the missions when the pelicans are used.

Plus there is Miranda who's holds lieutenant status.

Might as well call the biped Carol "Foe Hammer" Rawley
because that initial pilot who steered the Pod was unnamed

I'de assume that all pilot outfits are the same,
just like the marine armor are the same

I wasn't going to do anything this time to be honest, but it was easy enough to slap the helmet on to my existing halo 3 marines. I'll try to finish it some time soon, but I have other priorities at the moment.
