This is really a simple request, could anyone that reads this use their Avatar Quote as their focus in this community. Example;

- Gamer -
(Avid player who doesn't create custom content)

- Modder -
(No original content, just modifies Bungie's content)

- Generalist -
(Dabble in a little bit of everything)

- Artist -
(If you do more than one specific type of art)

- Character Artist -

- Vehicle Artist -

- Environment Artist -

- Texture Artist -

- Coder/Scripter -

- Designer -

- Level Designer -

- Rigger -

- Animator -

- Troll -
(Because I know some of you, that's your only purpose here)

etc.

I feel like this would make things much easier when trying to figure out if the posts' I'm reading are actually coming from someone that knows what they are talking about.

After that title put whatever you want! I just ask that people do this for clarification purposes and it would also make it much easier to find people to work with!

I was thinking about making a thread to see what people do..actually, I was wondering if Dennis could enable the option to have that display above the avatar like he does for people who are banned, are a screenshot guru, or are a "helpful poster" (Maniac). To keep it from becoming just another place for a quote though, I'd suggest making a list that you have to select from.

Seeing Maniac's posts is actually what re-sparked this for me. When I first joined that's what I used the avatar quote area for.

I'm a do what ever you want me to do kind of guy, besides modeling.

Then your a modder/community guy. It's just a means to make it easier to understand who where dealing with when it comes to critiques/assistance.

But if there is a next time the forum goes away!!!!

This is a good idea, but they should also include how much experiance they have, ex: 2 years, 1 year, 5 months, etc...

Agreed but that is out of my control. I appreciate all of you who are doing this, while it's not necessary this make Halomaps seem more like a community in my mind.

Would it be better if I just made a lists of roles/focuses that people could copy in paste?

Review the first post, I laid out actual focuses. You don't have to participate but it's a means to become more harmonized as a community.

If there's something specific you guys think is lacking feel free to post it.

In that spirit, I changed mine to what I really am. You could add it to the list, I think it's pretty valid.

I think this would be pretty nice if it sticks around. I don't play halo, nor make maps anymore, yet I am quite knowledgeable in the subject.
