Yeah, I finished the base shaders already. You seriously gotta smooth your base though, the light is reflecting off each face. Edited by XlzQwerty1 on Apr 26, 2011 at 06:15 PM

I just finished the recon, took me like an hour or so. The most important would be the body itself. Edited by XlzQwerty1 on Apr 27, 2011 at 08:16 PM

UPDATES -My examinations will be over on monday. -Ubergoober, an alpha tester, helped me find a few more client bugs and missle pod glitches that need to be addressed. -BSP still taking a while to re-assign materials to. Also, the waterfall might look too strange. The entire map is off from halo 3, of course, to some extent... but in the future I'll have to post some waterfall-specific pictures.

do you have any videos of the missile pod by any chance? I want to see which you are using. Or are you using a new tag not on any maps yet?

I don't think it would matter 'whose' or 'which' tags I'm using. If you have a prefect missile pod, I would like it.

It's not possible. One the one hand, you kind of need homing to take down banshees. On the other hand, you can't have vehicle-only lock on. I think I'll use strong homing on everything...

I think I'll use strong homing on everything... hmm, thats a bumma that u cant do vehicle only lock-on, how about medium strength lock-on for everything? seriously, strong lock-on is ridiculous, just have a multiplayer match on hornets nest and see how the rpg's lock-on, theres no escape! if u had strong lock-on for the purpose of taking out banshees, no-one would ever use the banshees cause remember u've got the laser there as well. Ah. I didn't know you hadn't gotten one already. But yeah I would go with a medium lock on if you ask me. Gives you a chance to get away at least.

Well, you can't throw grenades with the missile pod, so that means the secondary trigger is free. Primary Fire: Unguided Missile Secondary Fire: Homing Missile (With a brief charging period, to establish a "lock" on target) Ta-da?

Yeah, but the lock-on would have to be charged. Just for a second or two, but that would be enough to make them save it for targets large enough to track in that amount of time (i.e. vehicles) rather than trying to blast infantry with it. The unguided rockets would fire instantly, and would be better-suited to anti-infantry roles.

Decrease the speed of the Missiles, add a movement penalty to the weapon, and make the homing almost as powerful as the Needler's. That should work pretty well if I'd have to guess.

That should work pretty well if I'd have to guess. Yeah, and I'll decrease the damage as well (less than rockets) Movement penalties don't work for some reason, meh Yes, needler homing, perhaps more. I'm also wondering if anyone has actually made one of those vehicles that act as a missile pod weapon.
