Its just one bad edge in the bottom right/front corner?
delete the faces, use border tool
cap.
there is also a modifier called "cap all holes" or something, use that too.

I've never had any luck with the cap tool, just seems to create redundant geometry that halo doesn't seem to like.

Make sure you delete edges you don't need. Convert your model to editable poly, click on useless edges and hit the backspace button. Then click "edit triangulation" and make sure everything looks nice (you'll know when it doesn't, trust me)

before tou export the map make sure it's not in poly, but in mesh mode. In poly mode you get all sorts of unexplainable errors.

Most polly tools will actually conform to the sealed world rules, while their counterparts in mesh will not. This becomes a problem when making things like ladders, grates and other 2d meshes. In my experience, halo doesn't seem to care which form it's in, but your right in the sense it's easier to see your errors in editable mesh.

Unless you're making scenery, you have to follow the sealed world rule. Could you give me a better picture? It's hard to make out your problem.

It looks like a simple box, that's why I'm wondering why you have so many edges. I'd recommend taking some lessons from this site: http://www.tutorialized.com/tutorials/3DS-MAX/1, it seriously helped me when I was new.

Lol, I always do most of my work in mesh. Only a few things need poly really. But yeah, good luck on whatever project(s) you are working on!
