That actually raises the interesting question of what happens if Masterchief really needs to take a leak during a mission 0_o. Taking out his entire MJOLNIR armor and then putting it back on again sounds awkward. If they stored exrement inside the armor, then it would start to smell and get heavy, wouldn't it?

Besides that, I just noticed that the books mention MC spent an entire 8 hours on the pelican travelling from the control room to the Guilty Spark swamp. There are no toilets on the pelican, so it must've been tough. Then again, Covenant Dropships are worse.

Can we please just play the game instead of pointing out the lack of "realism" in a game from 10 years ago?

The game may be old, but it was set in 2552. The trigger may be non-existent and the gun might be "fired" by thought. Like how the comms work apparently. and visors. and zooms. ygmp.

The Needler reloads by rapid freezing. The needler thingy inside becomes melted then is (somehow) squeezed out and then rapidly frozen at the same time. Well thats how i think of it, solves the question for me.

quite honestly I don't think anyone should care whether or not the guns/rifles in halo ce have triggers or not. Its unimporant! So seriously stop making such a big deal out of this.

I know, we wouldn't want to "trigger" an argument.

No, they breath a gas which happens to consist a large part of excrement gases. But it in itself is not excrement.

In Halo 3 and I think Reach as well if you shoot off their masks they start suffocating and run around randomly because they don't breathe oxygen.

And in Reach if you burst their tank it springs a leak and propells them randomly around before exploding.

They breath methane.
