Also, H3 Wraiths/Scorpion tanks WOULD be pretty sweet, if with improved projectiles, the right reticules and decent shaders/bumpmaps. The only H3 scorpion I've seen is apparently terrible, and the only H3 Wraiths I've seen are the ones Cheddars has.
P.S. What've you been working on recently Cheddars? Is FRMT still alive?! hey guys
School's back and i really gotta focus this term so modding has been put to the side but i think i'm over halo now. I'm now a gta fan again (contradicting school focus but...meh). Maybe next holidays i'll get back into this, but only if i've got something to work with. City ff has been dropped because i can't find anyone to help out. So if this bsp is done and can be opened in sapien by the next school holidays i might come back to modding, then we can work on the level and finish it then release...but things arent looking that way atm :(

I needed the unused areas of the bsp to be deleted because the bsp used some flashy bitmaps which makes it lag pretty bad. And we need to fix the phantom or get our hands on one

Just a quick thought, I know that a bending compass is generally seen as not possible, but could you not use a similar method to the moving crosshairs and have it as an element in the weapon, rather than on the HUD itself? It might not be very smooth, I guess...

Almost. The compass wouldn't actually turn 360 degrees around or anything, though. Just the way fp anims work.

Dude I could make on I you really want. What do you want? One where the sides fold out or one where you go through the back or the hole.the one with the hole and the backs better because it means that people dot chuck grenades and rape them the minute the hatch opens and they are ready to jump out

Yeah, I was just figuring off the way the compass works on the AR with 8 bitmaps - I was thinking you could maybe just use say 16 or so and it would then sort of work, but yeah, not so smoothly and it would jump rather than turn, like you said. Maybe a bit of a waste of space on the bitmaps terms, though.

It lags on mp as seen in one of the rpg maps i downloaded but it worked for the warthog perfectly on the campaign so I reckon we can stick a few plasma turrets on the phantom for the ff's

How about when we get the chopper i'll put it into city firefight.
We need our brute pr with the cmt anims and a grav hammer. Also, cheef, could you get the odst autmag and i'll send u the one used in city ff as it has ideal anims.

yes i realize that they may be making their own maps.
but i thought that i would contribute. i took out the trees and i am now fixing triangle errors. i am also using oni alpha site for a firefight map also.
