I have done the first 5 waves of the firefight (1/3) and am working on reducing some horizontal tearing that occurs at times. The biped i'm using needs a bit of work tho and some of the weapons need tweaking.
314 I could really use some help with that bsp but you'll have to get it from a structure_bsp into gmax or 3ds because i don't know how to do that

Your doing the dropship anims right? The Unamed Valley Bsp may need its skybox enlarged so dropships can fly in and out. Perhaps a job for 314? Could you make a skybox like this?

I just started and I'm having trouble... I can't get the BSP converter to give me the files. I look in the data\levels and it's not there. Even when I turn on show hidden folders. Any ideas?

I have it mostly done but I lost motivation since I didn't see any work posted on this thread. Mostly just talk. It seems like you got some BSPs and firefights done but offered no photographic evidence. I will finish it if you can show me there is really something here.

Looking good. Besides the obvious things such as glitches and tag updates, I suggest the following: For uv_firefight: Lovely lush environment so far. I suggest adding a few rock outcrops providing natural cover in addition to hills, and maybe a river running through part of the map. Also, maybe some makeshift bases (sandbags, bunkers and barricades for the player, the usual drop shields, covenant supply blocks, sniper towers etc. for the covenant, maybe some wreckage of a Spirit/ Phantom dropship as the main area) and some covenant drop pods (these can just be scenery tags, already opened like the odst ones). And maybe some potholes like in the beach levels of CoD: World at War? For city_firefight: I absolutely love the city. Very good for tactical playing. I noticed you were struggling with the drones to start off, and I believe that a Battle Rifle nearby would improve the gameplay. For this map, I also repeat the idea of toggling AI allies to imitate the co-op experience. That'll just be the ODST bipeds you plan to use, and maybe a Sergeant Johnson with one of his iconic weapons (namely the shotgun/spartan laser/sniper rifle). An elevated position for a turret, rather than on the bottom of the ground, maybe surrounded by trees, similar to security zone ( http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?fid=5953) may also prove useful. I was also glad to see that you included banshees and warthogs, but also suggest that, along with allied AI in the warthog, in around wave 5-10 wraiths begin to attack also. Take it or leave it. Thanks for the feedback petera. I have added ghosts in the 3rd waves and wraiths in the 5th waves, I just didn't get far enough into the firefight in the vid. And good idea with the turret thing, i'll do that in a sec.
Does anyone have any name suggestions for Unamed Valley Firefight???

@Cheefy was the sky tag that was being used for unamed valley a custom sky? I didn't have the tag and had to change it so could you send it to me? edit started to make a short odst campaign. Its cityscape adrenaline. It was the only other city bsp i had.
Finished the ai encounters and added in a few extras. I want the second half of the mission (when your inside the covenant comms centre looking for a squad mate) to be darker than the rest of the map so I'm working on changing the lightmaps of a second version of the bsp atm
