I want to make Halo CE work on my Windows 7 machine like it does on XP but I cant :( according to Microsoft it says it does not work on 7 but I bet you guys know how :P

I'm using windows 7 right now and was just playing Halo ce a few minutes ago. Try to install it first and if that doesn't work then come back and ask some more questions. |

CE works on my windows 7 x64 fine, so it should work on any other machine. If not, right click the shortcut for Halo CE, and click on properties, then do this:
 But that shouldn't be necessary. |

I can run CE fine without checking the stuff in the Settings section, but I guess they help 64-bit systems.

Why doesn't it work on Windows 7? I'm using Windows 7 x64 right now, and I can run Halo just fine.

Im running Windows 7 x64 bit and there are no errors. Can you elaborate on the issues you experience when trying to play?

I have selected all of the options suggested and still am getting the error of incompatibility.
