Question: Since this just changes the bitmaps that the game displays, cat the original bitmaps be used for custom shaders and Result in the same product?
I'm not entirely sure about how this works... it's the only question I have.

texmod edits the textures the game uses. if a single player texture is edited and that same texture is used in multiplayer, then it is edited,. that being said, the answer is yes they already are.

Looking great! some of the back walls look a bit too repeated.

I can't change the size of the texture unfortunately, at least not with this mod. As for how clear it looks, I had it really deep thick red and it ended up just not looking right in game. You are constantly going to be seeing these go off throughout the game and I didn't want it bashing you in the face "bloody screen, so real" type of stuff.

I agree, If you could do some other sort of indicator it would be awesome, just the bloody patch really doesn't seem to fit in with halo :\

Easy enough to fix/change out. I added that in months ago on a whim to see if it looked ok in game. I can always package in ui stuff seperately inside the mod so I can make a few different options for people.

Word of advice.
Do not cater to everyone's little needs, do what you think looks good ( as you are doing a good job anyway), and dont delay the release because of one guy's opinion.
Remember this can go on forever, and there needs to be an end point, if there is not, it's unhealthy.

And that is why a we see maps that look near completion and we end up waiting a year or more for their release. I would definitely agree with this. Someone's always going to find something they don't like, that hasn't stopped the release of any game before, and don't let it stop you now. I guarantee, SOMEONE or a few someones will not be satisfied no matter what you do, so go with what Maniac is saying here or you may find yourself putting way more time than is really needed into catering to their wants.

That question's been answered on multiple pages. Try looking back through threads...

Try adding some grime and mold to the library considering how it is over run with flood. If the library textures are not used in any outside map of course. Other than that mod is turning out great.

This was my question as well, because if so... Have you ever considered making your own maps? Because if you were to texture them, they would quite possibly be the sexiest thing in Halo ever.
