im sorry to say, but i wont be able to participate in CE3 anymore. Due to corrupted files, (even the backup files went corrupt aswell :/), and i wont be able to have anything to show for the next month (as a minimum), so take me out of the listings.

Alright, I don't know how to showcase my stuff, since they're only 3D models, so I guess you can just take me out of the show (not sure if I was even in, I know I requested to be).

They're not even that important, just additions to recently released bipeds.

Savior ViDoc is officially a WIP.We should be able to finish the weekend before, or the following Monday at very latest.

Do not change the date for people who have not finished their show because most likely they won't finish either way. It just wastes people's time who actually have done it. There was a lot of time given to prep for this. You either have it or don't.

I completely disagree. I for a fact will finish, I want more time. Secondly, this little event was sprung out of no where, leaving little time to think about what people will do, let alone do it neatly. So change the date.

I am saving my sandtrap trailer as we speak. I think it looks ok and shows off what it needs to. It's gonna be 134 mb so uploading it would be a hassle.

As much as I understand what you're getting at, this is just a game for fun ('hobby') and there should never be pressure put upon someone to get something done. Besides, this just gives you (or others) a bit longer to clean up whatever it is you're showing as well as adding more people and projects to show off how great a modding community the people of CE are.

Wrong. Obviously you don't know the people that want more time will show it if the date gets pushed back because alalala we are not stuck on a computer 14/7 and we do other stuff in real life and we go on vacation.

If you can't make the date, why the hell did you sign up.
If people are ready to show there stuff, then there time is being wasted. The show is telling you to have your stuff ready, so you should.
Like said before, the people that sign up late should know what there getting into. There problems in the real world shouldn't have to reflect on lots of other people who may be ready.

Spartan, if you signed up late, and aren't ready, you should of know what you were getting into.

Basically this. I can show off some neat stuff if I have about 2 more weeks. I'm working most of the day and I have things to do with family etc. that just gets in the way even more. In the end it's Dratt's decision but it could mean the difference between me not doing anything for it or otherwise. There should always be pressure to get things done but I won't submit anything due to personal life unless the date is moved back 2 weeks or so. If submission is 7-7-10 then I can try for it but there is no guarantee.

If you want to know what's going on in my life to make it this way, hit me up on xfire. If you still plan on keeping the date the same, then I understand and will not hold it against you.

The first part of your little argument you made, it's called something may have influenced in the real world or something happened to your tags, your not thinking

The 2nd part your all wrong, the people that already got theirs done is SUPPOSED to get in a video and turn it into matt, they can go do something else, this is just a internet based expo, don't get your panties in a bunch.

3rd part you don't know what people do, so don't judge and think one person is the same to every other CE3 person thats joining.

4th you don't know how close I am to completing my little CE3 project because I have said nothing but now I will, I am getting "close" but I don't know how you define that sir. Seeing I need to fix some major BSP shaders and electric arks as well as the main biped, one weapon and 2 vehicles.

And I'm super sorry you are in this CE3 and you gotta wait a little more because every person is different and don't give me your side of the excuse after this. Let Slayer(bullet) decide with matt if they WANT to extend it or not, it isn't your call nor mine. Don't get your panties in a bunch because of 9 people want to push it back.

The thing is, Higuy, that people signed up when the thought was posted. They've been working on their pieces, but just haven't had enough time to finish them, since it was brought up on such short notice. They thought they could have it done by July 1st, but things could happen, something could go wrong, or they might not have it done in time, even if it was going smoothly for them. The thing they're asking for is a bit more time to fix things and get it ready. Besides, if the date were still July 7th, and the due date was July 1st, then I assure you a handful of people would drop out, due to the inability to complete their pieces in the allotted time.

It doesn't make sense to have 3 or 4 people show their stuff that they made. It would make more sense if they had more people show what they've been working on. Besides, it's Bungie Day on July 7th, so we need to celebrate! :D
