I don't believe in that grenade idea. Generally there are only two types of grenades in any h3 mp map anyway. By default there is always a frag and a sticky, be it spike or plasma.

I have a Frag, Plasma and Spike (which was released). I can get the flame model and create particles for it, but i dunno if it's worth it.

Firefight-Portent already had a good flame grenade, just ask Gamma for permission and use that one.

Then you can give the brute weapons a Spike grenade instead of Plasma, and AR and Pistol should get a different sticky to SMG and BR, they should get whichever one's generally considered stronger to compensate for the way they need more skill than their newly added counterparts.

Just... no. It's just confusing when you're looking for a grenade, like the BRG.
Plus, if you replaced the grenade trigger, you can't press g to switch grenade types. You would only have one grenade type.
I don't like this idea because it means favoring or dropping certain weapons just for its grenade attachment. And the halo 3 maps only really have two grenades in them anyway.

Hey Jesse, I haven't read through the entire thread but from what I can tell this looks pretty good. If you don't mind, a little credit should go my way for the original model. I modeled the towers and helped Yaksmelk with parts of the rest of the map. Although I'm not sure what all you guys have done to the original model, I'm just going off the original H3 sandtrap pics i saw.

A word of note, I started from scratch from the emf and redid everything including smoothing groups I manually did and gave it its own shader for rubber (which I should have done years ago)

I dunno if it's been done, if it's been discussed or even if it's possible, but I was wondering if you can have the sniper go through more than one enemy and a spartan laser that goes through more than one person, vehicle on CE as it does on Halo 3. And I've played a few maps on CE where the sniper shot ricochets off walls and u can see the trail of the bullet such as what happens in Halo 3. Will these features appear in Sandtrap v2?
Also, if theres gonna b a wraith i hope its the same as the one that appears in [DA] Enders 'Downflow' because it has excellent projectile distance rather than the plasma bomb just flopping in front of u when you shoot. And i hope the hammer animations have been changed a little, cause it needs to swing down a little further and flash when it hits the ground. A lot of these things are probably already set in concrete but I dunno what u guys have got so far, i havent seen a tester

Reason why you have not seen a tester is because I'm a Nazi when it comes to working on the content (I fear leaks) and jesse doesn't take risks. We only trust less then 10 people.

Most stuff is set in concrete besides the scenery, weapons and so on. I'm redoing them completely over to make up for the bsp.

Everyone isn't leaving CE. The only people who are "leaving" are the more senior members or people who have to due to life issues or technical problems.

Also, Spartan, that biped looks very good. The Orange definitely brings it out.
