I beat the game on normal in 4 hours. I'll beat it in 3 hours on heroic next time I'm at my cousin's.

I still haven't got my preordered copy of reach because they were stupidly out of stock before release and they won't let me cancel to go to a store and buy it I'm never ordering from them again ( dam 3 weeks late I think it'll take anothe 5 till I get reach)

why does it say OFFline profile?

Because obviously, you can't earn credits from Custom Firefight online, and there isn't a credit cap on offline profiles, or a rank cap.

You only get 1/5 offline. So if you wnat 1 million, you need 5 million, before you give it live, buy the armor first or ur credits dissapear

I thought Reach was a good game. When'd it get to the point where people "boost" for credits?

Bungie apparently isn't caring much for it. You only get banned for it if you 'make some code in your free time that does the boosting for you'. It's honestly too easy to boost for credits though.

Oh yeah banning 15,000 people that try to credit boost fast, uh huh they don't care, yeah...

In terms of gameplay, action, and visual appeal i firmly belive that reach surpasses all the other halo games.

Futhermore people boost in halo for the same reason that boost in MW, for frivilous us reason in reach its for credits in MW its for achivements, atleast in reach its not as lame

I agree with Bungie, I don't think farming credits is a problem if they are still playing the game. The credits are a reward for playing the game, not being super skilled.

Besides that, people boosting will hit the rank cap and they'll probably get bored and leave the game since Bungie said they are lifting it in another month or so.

Boosting has always been an issue in every game that involved some sort of reward system for playing it.
Just far more obvious in MW2.

The problem was more than just farming for credits (boosting as you all call it). People were exploiting connection glitches to where when they completed a challenge they would disconnect and then reconnect to accomplish it again, thus getting more credits by exploiting a networking glitch. The people who are banned are banned for reasons like what I just explained and those similar to it. Bungie did mention that some people were banned unfairly, which is a coincidental accidental glitch in the same process, which I believe they fixed.

Correction: mortal wounds. She was pronounced dead by the time she reached the Autumn and was revived I believe after the events of Halo 1. Everything else is right though.
Oh, and they're re-writing the books, so the books are either no longer canon or aren't complete canon.

They're not rewriting the books. They're just changing syntax errors and adding in bonus content. It was cool to see the new The Flood cover art today at Borders.

That looks pretty cool.

I think reach is the first fun halo game since the 1st one, but the legendary option kind of disappoints me. Does anyone else think heroic/legendary options in reach are much easier than in the other halos?
