For a start these arent bad. Im terrible with locomotion animations, but that goofy run just cracks me up. The reload does need some work but most of it is small touches, such as making the head follow the hand a bit more and letting the gun have a few impact/recovery frames once the mag goes in. I could probably give better crit when im not doing this via phome, but we'll see what you do with this.

I'm just trying to figure out which setup is used for which textures. Because images ripped from bitmaps tend to come out the way guerilla interprets it rather than how they're meant to be imported through tool.
For image permutations I'm talking about the kinds of multiple-use images where you can choose which image gets displayed by requesting it in the tags. Guerilla makes these look like they're meant to be laid out vertically.
For animations, I mean the image sequences that play automatically and are based on the functions and stuff used in stuff like the self-destruct screen in the maw's scenery tag. Guerilla makes these look like they're meant to be laid out horizonally. (like the shield hit bitmap)

Image Permutations are separate bitmaps, compiled using a separate command IIRC. (tool bitmap vs tool bitmaps?)
Animations are called sprites, the self destruct screen is actually a combination of several shaders akin to the assault rifle's screen.
I just posted a topic actually concerning how 3D bitmaps are compiled for Tool, just a few threads down from this one.
