I'm trying to make a hilly landscape, but whenever i get to running radiosity i end up with some weird shadows.

Anybody got any insight into this?

Your ID's in max and/or UV mapping. I'm betting your UV Maps.

ive tried re mapping it a few times, im pretty sure its something with the geometry, i just cant seem to figure out what.

Btw the problem is the hard shadows, not the texture.

Those are smoothing errors, make sure you dont have any double verts, then check your material ID's.

Your sky looks like dark blue Blah in all posted pics. They dont look different. Try using BG's sky.
