With the permission of the author, I am posting a topic of a few edited models. We're just wanting to know what you think of the model, does it look good or not. If you wish to help, try to keep it positive.

The big circular room looks like you just went crazy with the extrude/bevel tool. Render better also, those renders don't look too great. Also, you still didn't remove that inset on the AR. It's poly wastage since nobody will ever notice it. Render a closer view of the room with the deep pit, since I can't see any details really. Your cliffs could use a little more variation with less polygons. You can remove the hole in the front of the barrel of the sniper, you don't need it. Post wireframes of your mesh too so we can see what it looks like.

E: fix the nonplanars on your cliffs too.

Never learned how to do good cliffs. No one ever taught me how to. Never do bsp's. Mainly only weapon modifications. & Once again, No one helps me on doing bsp's or cliffs or anything.

You are getting more help than I did. Just look at the cliffs in bungie's maps, or other well-modeled ones (like Grove). With wireframe, of course.

It's triangular.

@uneven, the laser is just for looks and not for any aiming assist at all, that's what reticules are for :P
I wanted it like that, but I just love the origins as they are...

@Hunter, I personally do like the outlines. You don't like them so do you have any other ideas of what to put there?

If its not for aiming then have it look like its pointing straight. It is very annoying when the laser looks like its pointing at a 35 degree angle.

The laser is going straight, render just makes it look like it isnt. Depends on the angle you look down the laser at... What do you want him to do? Make it 45 degrees down so when you reload the laser is still pointing more or less straight when it should be pointing where the weapon is moved?...

And don't add anything... the outline just looks retarded and gay. And cheap.

Move the laser too during the animation.

As you see the barrel length has been increased, so we are deff. going to make it much more accurate. Probably tone down the damage too. I'm thinking of 30 round mags?

Good idea corvette.

Update #1: Here's an update on the Assault Rifle. *Note: the red checkers texture is on the model cause im currently trying to UVW Unwrap it so I can make it a complete custom texture*

I also took out some of the extra verts as someone said it had uneccesary details added to it.
