Nope, it's free. Just run halo ce in windowed mode and you are set. If you try to record fullscreen it will mess up.

What about game cam? It works pretty good, with pretty good quality imo.

There is a screen record which you can download for free, and after you have recorded the fottage it automatically uploaded it to your personal space. This can be accessed by anyone you link it to then and viewed in a flash player.

It also uploaded it at the same resolution which your monitor is set to.

The only problem is I can't remember what it is called, i will try and find it.

No, it's Camstudio that's free. Camtasia studio is different. http://www.techsmith.com/camtasia.asp

I've used Camtasia Studio before, but every time I try to record on 30 fps, it always gives me 10-20 fps when it was done recording

If you know what you are doing, Then use Fraps, and then convert it with Bink and Smacker to a .BIK, then convert it back to an AVI using 1 pass quality at 85%.
This will make the file size small enough to upload onto YouTube in a short time.

ya that's why i end up using xfire instead of fraps..1 million is huge :/

Don't even need to do that...
Get VirtualDub, and the DivX codec, through VirtualDub change it to DivX compression and save, and it is small enough, and won't look bad.

I use Unregistered Hypercam 2 and I get bad lagg :(
