What about game cam? It works pretty good, with pretty good quality imo.

There is a screen record which you can download for free, and after you have recorded the fottage it automatically uploaded it to your personal space. This can be accessed by anyone you link it to then and viewed in a flash player.
It also uploaded it at the same resolution which your monitor is set to. The only problem is I can't remember what it is called, i will try and find it. |

I've used Camtasia Studio before, but every time I try to record on 30 fps, it always gives me 10-20 fps when it was done recording

If you know what you are doing, Then use Fraps, and then convert it with Bink and Smacker to a .BIK, then convert it back to an AVI using 1 pass quality at 85%.
This will make the file size small enough to upload onto YouTube in a short time. |
