Its just a trailer for a game.

It's a trailer to promote a game, that might be good.

Usually trailers are in game, or pre rendered... not live action.

So? It looks good. It attracts people. It costed money, thats all that matters for the promotion of Halo 3 ODST.

A game that always gets over hyperactive kids playing on xbox live with it. A game that also gets over talked about.

I like how the drill instructor had the classic german bark, and the angry red face to go with it.

The fact that Steven Spielberg is making the Halo Movie now makes me happy,

He's really good at the War-Type movies.

As for the Video, I really loved it, I got Goosebumps,
would've of been nice to see some more blood effects,
and a will helm scream perhaps.

But overall, I really enjoyed it.

Why the hell does everybody feel the need to download videos and post then on youtube every time a new one comes out? It's a waste of time. There are like 30 of this video on youtube already

No, because only IGN had it, and you have to be an insider to download the HD.

I don't like it. Halo is a game and therefore they already have models for everything, why the heck do they feel the need to stick some real guys in there? Besides, the transitions from animated scenes to live action ones is really obvious.
Oh, and if more of it is live action then I think, then that says more about the quality of the live action rather than the animation.

Because it looks better.

Yeah live action trailers are way cooler then crappy game cut scenes that you never see in the game.

And because real actors convey emotions more effectively then computerized models.

Take drama for a year or so, and then decide.

Wrong, it's a game, animations are better for it.
