Already played halowars. The PAL version is already out and I naged a copy of it. Co-op is insane, having massive armies of 300 spartans attack 1 covi base. Feels good man.

OK... Halo Wars is new and a major part of the Halo universe so like with Halo 3 I will allow a thread about the game. The rule is that there must never be more than 2 threads about the Halo wars on the first two pages of the forum listings. I will lock any threads that violates this rule.

so? A spoiler is only when you ruin the story or something. All that was shown was things that will be in the game, which is something everyone should know, as to whether they should buy the game or not.

My theory is that the only way that there could have been flood is if everyone who has seen the flood dies or doesn't report back to the rest of the UNSC by the end of the game.

i believe so. but just so you guys all know: dont you guys think that we know alot about halo anyways? even the beginner map makers, coz really if we didnt really know about halo we wouldn't even being doing map making for so long.

Halo Wars is released on Mar. 3 for all you people in North America. Asia and Europe get it much earlier, however. I got it in the mail today and I got to the 4th or 5th mission with the civilians. *shudders* It's a pretty fun game, but the controls take a little bit of getting used to. It's easy to confuse Halo Wars fly camera controls with H3 flying camera controls.

I got HaloWars yesterday, spent a good while playing, and I've finally come to the conclusion its mediocre and over-rated. I just think it needed another faction, that would have kept me playing for a lot longer.

Although, on the bright side of things, the control scheme is great, models are nice, so is some of the things they've added. Also, I'm gonna try and model some of the stuff in it, particularly some of the Flood models.

After playing Company of Heroes over the weekend, no other RTS game can compete with it. Halo Wars, unfortunately, falls into this category. It's similar to any other RTS game. The only difference with it is that involves Halo units. Still, I'll get it IF I get a 360, or win the sweepstakes on Kongregate.

Lmao, the models are pretty low poly. Its mostly the textures and bumps that do the work.
