The models look pretty good from afar. I'm guessing the reason they aren't super high poly like you'd expect is because of performance. But if you do get close to say, Regret, you'll notice he doesn't have a face.

We're just lucky they didn't do in-game cinematics :P

Reason why there low poly is because at some point, you would have to render hundreds of units, and other stuff.

I think the Prophets look like turkeys.

And the cutscenes are epic.

Do you honestly think that they are going to display 5k tris marines with people who would make a whole team of marines which is like a team of 4-5 per slot. Meaning 200-250 marines on the screen.

haha, no. Xbox is no where capable of matching up to PC, except for its GPU and RAM. Everything else is pretty much crap. The processor, if you read the tech specs for it, is only 3.8GHz. Most modern day gaming PC's go up to 4.3GHz, which is a pretty big difference. The cooling for the system is what I might have use on my earlier Windows 2000 PC. The power supply is alright, I can't say its the best, seeming that have to use that friggen huge thing to connect the power to the wall -.-'

I got bored of it after 2 days. Mainly due to the fact 2 factions limits re-playability.

Man, I got to play Halowars retail yesterday. The demo isn't even the tip of the iceberg. This game is going to keep me busy for months. And Mission three is =o

Bah, I still think its over-rated, but yes, the demo is only the tip of the iceberg.

Mission 3 is where you must get to Forge in the Forerunner underground place, also known as where you first get Grizzlies, upon rescueing Forge and Anders you must evac to the surface.

Theres other missions more epic than that IMO.

Meh, L0dex, get a chance to try Automatic 40 yet? I think its really good. Try a 3v3 Automatic 40, pretty cool.

Well of course they did. It was the first game and no one knew if the series would take hold. They wasn't even a good background story until the books came out.
