You cant really make a campaign based on Reach. Since you dont really know what it looks like. You wouldnt know what to model. The only reference really is the cover of the book.

It's an Earth-like planet slightly larger and warmer I believe.

Im talking more than the natural environment, I mean the city's and structures and other human-origin objects.

Think ODST style cities and bigger ONI building, partially underground.

Beginning of Halo 2 takes place on Earth. After downing the Scarab, you board a pelican that takes you to the In Amber Clad. The In Amber Clad pursues a Covenant Carrier that jumps to slipspace from Earth to an unknown location. Once both ships exit the slipspace wormhole, it is discovered that it's another Halo. After some time, you kill the Prophet of Regret, and the Covenant fleet begins bombardment. You fall into the water, and get grabbed by Gravemind, who teleports you onto High Charity. Then, the In Amber Clad comes out of nowhere, filled with flood, and smashes into High Charity, infecting the entire holy city. You escape by getting onto a Forerunner Dreadnaught, which flys towards Earth. That's where you are at the beginning of Halo 3.

Now I know what people mean by Halo being unrealistic.

If you're going to make a campaign , make it custom. Tell the story of the Man who died and stuff. Boom , explosion , wham , bullets fire , ect ect.

Ok here is an campaign idea,make two of them One (first part) following Masterchief when he destroys the data aswell as - flashback missions(like described in books,only modified to fit a game)

Second part follow one of the spartans that jump down to Reach and follow his struggle against the covenant before(alot of imagination[Since the story got holes this shouldnt be a huge problem,However it is a huge problem:P] aswell as some of the ones described in the book - only covenant as enemy that is) - This could be in flashbacks also..

For Chief part there could be flashback aswell as merging the story with First strike(The parts when they go get the surviving spartans and aswell getting away from halo)

Orrrrr You mix that up like The arbiter VS Masterchief in Halo 2(No need for two campaigns then.)

Lmao not that anyone will be able to pull this of..or maybe someone could..

In Halo 2 miranda keyes ship was the In Amber Clad. In halo 3 she commands the Forward Unto Dawn

Ok POA was blown up, IAC was crashed into High Chrity with a bunch of flood THEN blown up, The FUD was cut in half.

All commanded by a Keyes.

The Pillar of Autumn was destroyed by the Master Chief, the In Amber Clad did not have Keyes commanding it at the time, and the Forward Unto Dawn was being commanded by the Arbiter at the moment.

god damn arbiter learn to drive better lol.

Blame human engineers for not being able to make the Frigates faster, or blame the Master Chief for making dramatic moves instead of getting the hell out of there.
