err is snow trap just like mmt sandtrap with snow on it or is it different please explain

snow trap is an awesome map made by inferno. which was leaked by uploading to halomaps, even though it had a public beta, there were specific instructions to not release it or upload it.
Its only a beta, so its still a wip. and its way different. dont even compare mmt sandtrap with snow trap.

1. Made by someone who knows what he is doing apart of most of this community.
2. It is part model of yak or what his name is.
3. He edited and resized-made parts proper
4. Its snow. Not sand.
5. Its custom, but still awesome.

o i was just wondering if it sucked or not because there were zero downloads and i was like hm looks like a good map unless its mmt sandtrap with snow >_> i never want to see that anyways should i get it off of here or the original download

0 downloads because it just got uploaded a few hours ago and the counter doesn't update automatically.

I'm still pissed that some idiot leaked it though.

it was a dick thing to do since inferno specifically instructed people not to do it, but it was also a public beta. i dont see what harm is going to come from more people having it. they can just get the full version when its done

Still you would think that people can handel not leaking a map at the author's request like really that was really a dick move to who ever decided that it was a great idea to leak inferno's map like are these people like 5?

I'm pretty that's inferno's way of calling it a "beta" and I guess some kid thought "liek l0lz 1t sayz N0T_L3AK_F4G 1f i leakz it will bez lolz and i r b l33t h4xor lolz".

Look at the readme.txt in the archive. It says that cmt made it. Dennis picked up on the fact that inferno made it, so he thankfully put Inferno down as the author.

i have to say that was funny i actually laughed over how you said that epically the "l33t h4xor"part lol

lol inferno should just put porn or something in the map so people can't leak it to halomaps lol.

He's going to. On Modacity, he said that he's going to fill it with porn, and name it something really obscene.

Musee Sexe is artistic porn, and the rest if them have the porn in a secret room where you are not forced to look at it.
Higuy's maps doesn't classify as having porn really. It's far too softcore. I put some porn on my beta map's HUD so you can't avoid seeing it. And hardcore stuff with the parts showing.

Golly Gee.... why not just be careful who you give your beta maps to. Nah... that would mean that you would have to take responsibility for your actions and decisions. No one wants that now do they?

True, people hand betas out like candy to the wrong people sometimes and in all honesty something like this was dying to happen after Inferno named the map the way he did and morons find it funny to well ...

Last time I checked, half of Modacity makes fun of Halomaps saying they suck and are immature. Now you're just spewing out hypocritical bullcrap.

The best way that's easy to prevent a map from being uploaded is to just name the map a name that has already been hosted on this site, and it's not immature like putting porn and racial slur stamps all over it.

Each site has their stereotypes about the other. Some over there (speaking broadly) think were all idiots and some here (speaking broadly) think Modacity is all pricks :)

Im glad it got leaked. Teaches people to not give out their maps until they are done -_-

If you need a multiplayer test. then you do it lan and monitor your peers.

you know, if it has a name thats already used, like bloodgulch.map, dennis wont upload it, and people cant easily play the leak with eachother either.

I highly doubt the community has the ability to do that.

I give it two thumbs up the worst part of the map is my model haha, btw if anyone else is planning on making a map with that model atleast send me a copy.
