I know I was using that shield from my old topic for my halo SP thread :\ but I'll get into it :) but let me ask you this once I finish the whole HUD should I release the visor, shield meter, and weapons hud tags? So people can enjoy and have fun with it?

just so you guys know, when you make an hud, for the x and y offsets, pretend your halo screen is a 640x480 canvas. that has always worked for me. and for appearance sake, you should make your bitmaps 2x the size they should be, then scale them down by half in gurilla. it just makes stuff look better

waaaay to opaque. It needs just a tint of sky blue color in the fills. Other than that, its on top 10 huds :D BTW, does anyone know where I can find a decent HUD tutorial? I just recreate this and took me 5 min to do this :) Damn I gatta own it to Donut for teaching me alot about HUD and lucky known alot about gimp to have skill for visoring lol. Damage indicators are way too thick, and grenade indicator doesn't really fit. It just doesn't flow with the ODST style, and it's also too thick IMO. It's like trying to sort a box inside a container for spheres only.
