Project now being worked on.

Come all and have fun at the newest map atraction opening before 2010! There will be all kinds of rides and atractions here at HaloLand. Ride the worlds tallest FPS Roller coaster! Go on a WhiteWater ride. and even a haunted house! But thats not all! There will be a theatre where you and your friends can perform shows for other Geusts! while they sit down at a table and watch the glorious shows you put on. We even have our own Masscot who will be walking around on the park at all times. (he is ai so he will not sync) This map can be fun to be walking around and enjoying the rides or a nice game of CTF and slayer. The main entrances will havae a ticket booth with a flag base for each team. The flag of course will have the theme parks Banner! More news and features of this map will be on its way!

P.S. We have a small crew working on this map except a few people so if you would like to pitch in you too can get your name in the map! That's right all Helpers of this map will be on HaloLand's Sidewalk Tour. Each name will be placed on the sidewalk near each entrance! trying not to. only problem is im not so good at modeling so any expert modelers out there would be helpfull. i'm mainly the brains behind the whole thing lol.

I can get alpha grates to appear properly, and save-up on their poly wastage by making them single planes.

this idea is really, really original, and I sure do like the concept, hope this doesn't die out

Theatre idea is fun too, mini machinima's =P

All we realy need is a good modeler for the rides. the only problem we have is how to work the rides. there are a few sugestions.

AI in driver seat.: nope won't sync it would only work for 1 person per ride.

Movable scenery w/ seats: nope still wont sync

Drive it yourself: but how do u keep a coaster on the tracks?

put a tunnel directly underneath the tracks and out the mass points for the vehicle inside?

You can still fall off the track, since the mass points would rotate within the tunnel.

we were thinking about putting an invisable wall like an inch high on the sides of the tracks so you cant fall off.

thats another thing we had trouble with. we would need it to go extremly fast to do a loop or you would just fall straight down and get crushed.

Loops, as far as I know, are impossible in Halo. You'd have to do some pretty fancy work to get it to work right.

Or we could just try something like what they did for a sonic map that I played once were when you arrive at a certain point you go into a mode were you have no control but you look as if you run and do a loop, I was thinking that you could try doing the same thing with the vehicle. Maybe a little scripting here and there will do it :p

Make it so an ai drives,then make him invinsable. Vehicles sync,and hes in a vehicle,and he cant be killed or knocked out.
