Who would win in a war? Rebels from star wars or the Covenent? I'm really bored right now and I have nothing else to do. So post who do you think would win.

Rebels cause they have the jedi on there side. :D

Not really. I mean, sure there are probably more covenent than Rebels, but the rebels have jedi, and the covenent do not.

The Rebels have 1 Jedi. Luke. He's not like the Sith in The Forced Unleashed who can take down a star destroyer. All they have to do is glass the s*** out of him. Dead Jedi, Dead Rebels, Alive Covenant.

Coveneant.
Rebel troopers are like marines , Brave but lack good enough equipment.
While both have lasers of a sort , the Coveneant have energy sheilding for elite warriors.
Seraphs are possibly more Agile then X-wings.
Rebels are outnumbered by the Coveneant.
Coveneant have control of vast amounts of materials for building their armadas , while the rebels are scavengers and rely on out-side backing for Warships.
I'd love to see Luke fight Zealots. Lightsaber vs Energy Sword ^^
Elites have Cloaking technology.
The Coveneant have the capability of destroying worlds by glassing them , while the rebels dont.
The last nail in the coffin for the Rebels is that they dont have the MasterCheif.

Rebels don't have a really good track record. In Empire at War, when playing as the Empire, take a bunch of Star Destroyers out for a joyride. The Rebels don't have many things that can counter them effectively, except for their "capital ships" that get owned by Super Star Destroyers.

I love that game , espically EAW:FOC expansion pack.

Ok, Lets just include the entire Star Wars vs Halo Universe.

Death Star > Covenant, Flood, UNSC.

Also, if you want to keep it at Rebels vs Covenant, well, the Reb's do have the Death Star plans ;)

Though they lack the recources needed to build it. Also, seraph fighters have shields, which would make it easy for them to destroy a Death Star the same way the Rebel fighters did, even if they were being tailed by enemy fighters.

Covenant would win.

Yes, and the things the Covenant needed to go through to just activate Delta Halo. As for the Death Star, flick of a switch and KABOOM. Also, Sw fighters have shielding also. And for the people saying, "Covenant have shields also". Thats what Ion Weapons are for. Ion Cannon would probably take out a Covenant ship very easily.

also, this debate is futile, as noone knows the true power of The Dark Side each factions technology.

Arbiter would get owned by any Jedi. He does not have the Force. You could just force push him, then, when he's on the ground, lightsaber throw. Result? Dead Arbiter.

Yes but the Rebels don't have the Death Star, or the Dark Side. Or the cookies that come with the Dark Side.

Jedi > Spartans.. force defeats the purpose of bullets. But Spartans with Plasma Weapons > Jedi.
Same with the Covenant,you can't deflect plasma (I hope). And if that doesn't work they can just glass them :D.

If you couldn't deflect plasma, you couldn't contain it, so all the Covenant weapons wouldn't work.
