Blegh, I have a model ready to go, and I'm trying to get it rigged, but it won't fit the standard skeleton as it has no arms and it has a tail. How would I rig something like this?

move/delete/add bones and completely re-animate.

No I mean with the default max skeleton. It doesn't fit and if I delete 1 bone it deletes the whole skeleton :\

You could make your own bones, instead of the skeleton bones.

You can change the skeleton you know, in biped settings...(amount of leg links, spines etc etc.)

How would I rig something like this? either use the previous bone and rig it to that, or emulate it with some other bone, or use half weighted rigs between 2 bones it's between, or do it the hard way and add some bones if you want to re-animate it
