Is there anyway possible to script an AI to capture a flag?

Make a script that detects whether a certain AI is in a trigger volume surrounding a flag. When the AI enters the trigger volume, replace it with a different encounter with an AI armed with flag.weapon.

That will still not destroy the flag object. Also, its hard to determine the exact AI, unless you all give them different squads. Simply put, its not possible.

yes. thats possible. Personally i think its possible. May take a while to get it working for your liking. Dont forget to make sure that you make it work for the ctf gametype only. :\

this could only be for singleplayer type since AI don't sync. but hey it would be a great way to practice CTF

It could be possible,He could always make a specific AI for capturing the flag,instead of making all the AI in different squads.

But getting the AI to bring the flag back would be difficult. He would need to be able to avoid the player, and not fire at you.

If it were MP, I highly doubt you would be able to delete the flag that you normally pick up, because it's not an object, rather a netgame flag.

...and you can't refer to netgame flags. So AI flag capture is not possible.

you could make it a training map and replace the netgame flag with a weapon...so it can at least imitate the effect.......
