Wow that's awesome looking, even by my standards.

That is pretty damn awesome.

Energy arcs are a bit strange, but the actual explosion is just <3

Looks good but needs improvement.
The explosion needs more electricity and random flow added to that electricity.
Needs moar culor.
needs to be uploaded so we can use them :P

Awesome, I admit better than CMT's. And yes, I agree with Sabre, every grenade has a different explosion. But one question... How will it handle on a poor graphics card like mine(I have a Pentium 4, crappy)? Better explosions make people use grenades more often, and even if it isn't that strong, the explosion encourages people to grenade lob.

Anyways, that explosion effect was WIN!

Now if you could only get rid of that stupid opaque visor blocking your field of view.

I think dennis has a slight point, in that in H3 it only shows when its darker. But it is after all opaque.

Needs to be bigger, Plasma grenade explosions are much bigger then that. Even though its custom and blue, etc, I don't think it looks like a plasma grenade explosion it does look good though.

Visors are fine they shade your eyes without blocking your field of view. In fact they improve your visual capability by removing the light as an obstruction.

In HUD design the object is to NOT block your field of view and still give you relevant information. Having a useless opaque outline blocking nearly a 3rd of your field of view is antithetical to the purpose of a HUD. Especially since the human eye and brain is wired to be more perceptive of things in the peripheral view which that outline blocks. It is extremely poor design and frankly annoying.

Yeah I've never liked that much either. They only seem to be good to me if there not that noticeable and blocking too much out, which is what that one is doing it seems.

Visors in haloCE huds are just plain suck.

Im loving this grenade though. Very nice.

The grenade handles fine on lower end pc's, the explosion effects use only like 3 main bitmaps so yeah, and like i said before broke has a thing for H3MT's HUD that is his picture on the top :P

Seems like Broke is the only one actually running the team...

That's only what you see, because we don't bother to keep you in the loop :P

It was a valid opinion, there was no reason to flame him at all. He may troll sometimes, but hes still a member of this community. And no offense, but I totally agree with him.

Explosions are my favorite part of any CE map and I usually judge a map by how much I like the grenades...

The explosion is fine as it is right now. I'd have to agree with Dennis on the visor though. But I digress, that is one very nice explosion.

MAke the explosions match the size of the arrows going outwards and it'll be epic.

really im detecting a lack of thought here. this was one of the VERY few posts that recycle bin has made that are actually valid, because its true. the blue orb burning thing doesnt really make sense for an explosion. if it expanded rapidly with the explosion, to show the force, it might look better

It needs to pull in slightly the split second before exploding. It needs to expand outwards faster. The secondary explosion either needs to be larger or be more like the Building Destruction effect from Warcraft 3.

First, you must be blind to say or contradict me. Second, I did ban them from my site and neg rep recycle on modacity and itails has been banned from there too, for making 50 accounts.
