i have downloaded alot of custom maps and have been trying to figure out how to get cyborg into a grunt in the mod grunt attack. i tried switching their bipeds and physics stuff but cant get it too work. what am i doing wrong????

The fact that you're modding other people's mods. To make yourself play as a grunt, open up the globals.globals tag in Guerilla, and change the player to a grunt, instead of a cyborg.

i made it too globals globals and clicked on it but there is tons of crap on it what exactly do i change? thks for replying :)

hey realy sorry to bother u agian but my game crashed after i changed the very top title to grunt instead of cyborg. it was in the biped sectoin and also turned red when i changed it. it would be great too reply cuz my game wont work now:(

Get HEK+ (on this site) and rip tags\characters\grunt from bloodgulch.map in your HALO maps folder.

^NO. Bloodgulch doesn't have grunts in it. Rip it from a10.map from your Halo PC maps folder.

so u want me to open my a10 map and exract grunt character into the place where my player biped was? and if not what about the other questin of mine. the thing where when i go to globols and change the player bipid it turns red and then i start it and *crash* itl still work if i change it back though ( i got halo ce fixed )

No. To make yourself play as a grunt, you redirect the player character to a grunt inside the globals.globals file.

change only this one & your biped must have fp animations for every weapon and veachal if you expect him to get in veachals or use weapons.

i know im being a pain with these questions but when i go to my character tag files and go into the cyborg i find a biped there but in my grunt file all i see is one bitmap. in fact i only have a biped in the character file for cyborg am i supposed to import a biped or something? i think it would be easier if u post a picture like jackrabbit. also ive been trying to use hek + to see if i could do it with that so i can be a jackel or something on this cool mod i made. if u could responed to this last one thatl be great :P

You didn't extract the tags. Open HEK+, open a10.map, and once all these folders pop up, drag them all into the list on the right that says "Tag Extraction Cue". Uncheck the "Save extracted tags list" box, and click Start.

ok sorry but i have a new problem. ive been using a different comp for this but i got a new one (vista) HP and for some stupid reason when i open it up everything seems fine except when i right click or click on the bar at the top onto any of the selections HEK freezes and eventually my comp will tell me its not responding and i need to close it. anywone had this happen before? it worked fine on my old comp

Go to your HEKPlus.exe. Right click it. Click Properties. Go to the compatibility tab, and check the box that says: "Disable Desktop Composition". Click OK, and then try.

about the hek freezing. i right clicked and went to properties but i only have a general security sharing and customize tag. i went through all of them but didn't have any luck finding the thing

Well, right click the shortcut again, and click the link at the bottom of the list. Properties. Show me a screenshot of what that looks like.

Then you're in luck. Open the start menu. Type in Snipping tool. Open it. Then, "snip" the area you want us to see. Save that picture. Then, upload it, and give us the link.

no he right clicked the short cut. your supposed to right click on the actual app
