hey,
I'm trying to make a pelican in a cutsecen pick up some marines and fly away. I got an AI in there but he doesn't fly it right (flys into walls and grounds like he's drunk). Are recorded animations posible for this and if so how?
If they arn't possible does anyone have a diffrent solution for flying pelicans in strait lines or a way to make the ai fly it a bit more naturely?

If you can find a recorded animation that flys the pelican. To get them, import from campaign maps. File> Import Recorded Animation. Then browse to a campaign map's scenario, and select it. The recorded animations will then appear in the Hierarchy View > Mission > Game Data > Recorded Animations. To test one out, type into the Sapien console:

recording_play [name of vehicle] [name of recorded animation]

You'd think that'd work but it doesn't. He's still just standing there, half out of the pelican's windshild in the T-posisioin that looks like jesuse on the cross. it's kind of comical acualy... looks like he's flying it with his mind.

it doesn't have anims for the seat. also, no editing recorded animations. They (gearbox) took out the code.
