How is she when she doesn't surf?

This is a map I've been working on for some time (I hope you don't mind napalm, I didn't know you existed until fairly recently) and i need some people as beta testers, so if you want to do this then add me on xfire: Dagoldfish. Its not that good because its my first map, so don't expect too much.

im going to be honest here, when i saw this thread, i thought somebody had made some badass fire particle effects. when the page loaded, my hopes were crushed
you might try chamfering the edges of that hole. i cant see much more in that picture

I think you need to put some more pics, all you have is a hole no offense lol. And I think if you are going to name your map napalm, then put some napalm in it ;) but from what I can tell it looks pretty good

there is a gun turret in the hole and this is my first map and i used 3ds TRIAL so i had limited time AND i've never modelled anything before

there not actually very good as you cant see a thing through them. The vehicles are:
1x longsword
2x pelican
2x special ops pelican
2x jet
6x wasp
4x gauss turret
1x laag turret
5x flamehog
6x guass hog
6x standard hog
2x scorpion
1x heavy scorpion
1x draco (is a secret - you probably will not find)
3x wraith
1x scarab (deleted shots homing ability)
5x spectre
5x banshee (with boost)
2x seraphf
6x phantom
6x brute ghost
6x fuel rod ghost
4x covy anti air turret
1x covy anti personnel turret
1x mythos
that's it I think

the small structures (hog base\sniper tower) are scenery so you can have them if you want (for some reason tool came up with errors if i put them in the map on 3ds so i did them separate)

fine...

actually theres 80 vehicles: there are 5 wasps and if you go to the end of the map in the middle wraith and drive under 4 small circles hovering in the air (they are VERY hard to find) then a hog which when you press crouch spawns an ai wasp which tracks an enemy and explodes on impact spawns somewhere (or you could just type object_create bridgehog on devmode)

-fix messed up uv's
-please do somethings to the cliff walls in the river
-change grass texture

-oh yeah and when your on the artilery guns you can't see anything out the window

Overall, it looks good for a first map. If you can find an alternative to the 3ds Max trial, and continue practicing, I think you could have something to offer to the community. :)

can I have the sniper tower? ill use it in sp map and will give credit =) they look really good

EDIT: ide like to beta but my computer has really bad graphics and if i use it on my laptop which has way better graphics I cant join any servers because I need a new product key...ill ask my dad if he can get me another copy of Halo for my laptop....

you should exchange the tanks with a mythos and put normal scorpions (not heavy, laggs bad) in each side. also, modify the frag grenades. and fix the rolling thing on the banshees when shooting fuel rod.

also, i found the draco XD too overpowered with its nukes. atleast you must use dev mode to get it.

How did you find the draco???????????????? did you use dev? Anyway, the scorpions dont lag, i tested them. How should i mod frags?

you can fix that with a camera marker and a fixed camera. A camera tag can behave like a fp camera, just edit it's positions to [0,0,0], but keep the same number of positions. copy and edit one, there's supposed to be 9 positions or something

does the map even have enough room for 80 vehicles and 27 vehicle types? i mean like, will it go through tool?
and how the hell do you have 27 vehicle types? i wasnt aware that there were that many different kinds of vehicles

the grass texture is seamless. I EASILY have enough room for 160 vehicles, i had to delete half of them because of the vehicle limit just after i finished filling the first base (which initially had 80 vehicles. They're big bases, but my brother pointed out that it was pointless having so many vehicles (10 vehicles to each person maximum), even if it was possible
