There's a limit to the number of nodes and markers in a model, so there's probably a limit to the number of vehicles and the object names needed to force the extra vehicles into existance with scripting.
Perhaps vehicles created by effects are created dynamically, and thus limited only by memory.

yup. It crashed halo when they all started respawning like a fountain. I love this stuff. Must have been at least a couple hundred, but I was getting a frame every couple seconds.
It could work, on a fast computer, with simplified vehicles, and a script controlling AI that spawn a specific amount of vehicles at the different locations, but this should be done server side only.
Wait, would these vehicles synch? I suddenly have doubt...

i found the dracos by using cheat_all_vehicles. also, it still advised that you put a mythos and two normal tanks (to equal the covenants) and give more ammo for the homing rocket launcher. change the frag so it will shoot some assult rifle bullets when detonaded, and exchange the normal warthogs with a mongoose. also put some big scenery between the bases, to prevent snipers. and throw some more vehicles into the middle. delete the front turrets, and put the turrets near the holes on the front. will leave some space for a few bigger vehicles around the battlefield. (fast transport only is best.)

my mongoose is corrupt and as i said i cant put down any more vehicles. i will exchange one lot of scorpions for a mythos but i will leave the other alone. I will edit the grenades as you say. and i will add homing rocket ammo. what sort of scenery do you suggest? And why should i prevent snipers?

EDIT: done. gun turrets view greatly improved (thanks bobbysoon). mythos added in place of the left scorpions and the grenade fires slightly more powerful AR shots. The homing rockets can now hold 10 rockets and two more hog bases have been added (with flying vehicles this time)

you should prevent sniping so people wont camp on top of the base. scenery, hmm... the biggest rock you can find. and add some fog. you got 4 turrets types on the map. the two stronger one needs to be on the front of the base and the weaker needs to be deleted. you can use the holes by downloading the ladder scenery on the site and put them from the bottom into the hole which adds sneaking elements. switching the mongoose.. find a one seat ground vehicle. you said you also have secret "room" which uses 2 vehicles. its majorly unneeded becuse not many people like "useless" secret rooms. if you delete, 76 vehicles left. if not, 78 vehicles left. a good idea is to use boat vehicles if you can find. if not, throw in gaint turrets.

you mean the longsword?
i made it so cheat_all_vehicles doesnt spawn the draco; you have to do the impossible and find it. Luckily the cheat room is invisible to devcam exempt when you're inside it, which led to my thinking for some reasone it hadn't exported, until i accidentally stumbled upon it. Anyway, one of the vehicles in the secret room as you call it, not the real secret room but anyway is normally there anyway and the biggest rock i can find is nowhere near big enough. Also, boat vehicles work by having an invisible plane which is collidable to vehicles slightly below the surface, but then all the other vehicles would do this too, making the normal vehicles drive on water. I dont have any other one seat vehicle, but would an speed warthog like on coldsnap do? I still dont get what your on about with the turrets and ladder... Anyway, you can't see one base from the other

as i said, use gaint turrets instead. the warthog you talking about that is in coldsnap is close. if you are going to use that, enable weapons on the driver seat and remove the other seat.
you SHOULD use fog, becuse even when in beta testing you wont notice it, in a 10 players match, longswords, seraphs and banshees are going to rule the sky, the mythos, scarab (and heavy scorpion if you left it on the map) are going to rule the ground, and snipers with laggy homing rocket launchers and needlerifle are going to rule inbase combat. the problem is, that you could see all the mess. which create lag. it best that youll put fog, becuse currectly you can see about half of the map at once. what i meant with turrets and ladders is: remember the turrets you put infront of the base? (not wheres the holes in the wall are) instead, delete all the turrets in the bases, and put the turrets (the stronger kind, not the c gun turret or laag turret) infront of the bases, and with the holes in the walls (where you put your turrets) use a ladder scenery from the site, stretching it from the hole, into the ground. the gaint turrets put ontop of the base. if you STILL dont understand.. il edit the map you sended me and show you what i meant.

um... the hogs in coldsnap dont have weapons. or do you mean normal weapons? I will add the fog but i like the turrets the way they are. I fixed the banshee, by the way.

EDIT: i cant add fog as the water needs fog and i dont know how to add more than one fog type

there are no standard hogs anymore. i swapped them for mongeese (apparently made of solid gold)

i meant the hog with no gunner seat. i meant that youll check the box "allow weapons" on the driver seat in guerilla and delete the other seat.

the box "allow weapons" doesn't do anything. Its the driver position that allows weapons or not.

Make this map have something different. Like, having it raining or snowing. Plain on grass it boring now. Thats just my opinion, but maybe just a new type of enviornment?

No, im not going to do weather. (i cant.) Swapped the missile jets for ordinary jets and swapped the mongooses for speed hogs.

the reason i cant do weather is because i didn't portal the bases, and yes, i made them myself. Anyways, i think im done now.
